no matter what type of wiring you used, the DESIGN of the harness is definitely not ideal. the headlight relay upgrade is a GREAT investment.
Dave (Zs-ondabrain) over at classiczcars.com makes an AWESOME headlight relay upgrade: http://classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20365
that was hilarious
my input: mu buddy is putting a hi comp "small port" 4AGE in his AE86 and is using the OEM FWD intake manifold. BUT he had the front and back cut and welded on the opposite sides so he can use it in he RWD application. granted this is going to be in an autoX only car so it doesn't need to be street legal. but the questions are really how stock you can make it look and how critical is the ref.
^wow jon, thanks for those links! as i was reading this i was coming up with hypotheses to see what could cause it. it was cool to find out one was right! lol
haha, i suppose i could take it upon myself to do so... take a look at the website, find me some skus, and i'll buy and ship! but don't overwhelm me, or else i might never get the Z done
^hahah, i lol'ed when i saw the antique plate, too
anyway, terry's car is awesome; if you do decide to do a diffuser/vent; make sure it's straight and experiment with different materials for the grille
i'm HOPING it was just the head/head gasket that blew, but on classiczcars someone found out that the cylinder wall had a 3" crack in it, so i'm taking a "worst case scenario"
although even if my block is fine, i would still trade across
^correct. except for the fact that the question isn't the weight of the VG30ET, it's for the VG30DETT. the extra cams and associated valvetrain would add a bit to the weight. and i'm willing to bet that this is just for the VG30E block and head.
