  2. OTM - i dig your setup! can't wait to see the MN47 built up and yes, i know that the SUs are going to be my weak link. i'm going to get SM needles for them for the time being; although i'll still be choking a bit. eventually i'm going to go with 45-50 mikunis
  3. i know i shouldn't partake in this thread, but i will simply tell you my combo - F54 block (with flattop pistons) N42 head schnieder stage IV cam/valvetrain (thanks john!) good ol' SUs MSA 6-1 header 2.5" exhaust to super turbo muffler expecting ~10.5:1 comp ratio
  4. was admiring that manifold yesterday..... NICE
  5. with that MVP bellhousing i'm assuming
  6. IMO, SU & EFI >>>>> DGV and from everyone's feedback who has purchased the ZT carbs, i feel comfortable in saying that it is worth it. as far as EFI vs SU, there will be 2 camps on that issue. i have SUs on my car, but i feel that EFI has the greater power potential because of the metering involved. but do yourself a favor and switch to some SUs
  7. maybe too rich? that's what would cause it to bog. any smells from the exhaust?
  8. watanabes they are what the rewinds were modeled after. that's austin's car. you can ask him what offset, etc.!
  9. hahah, they must drive the trucks over the water....
  10. probably. that hump is a locator. one of the shims should have a cut in it..... otherwise, you could probably cut the area of the shim that's preventing you from mounting it.
  11. is it just a myth that headers deteriorate faster with wrap because of the temps reached?
  12. landcruiser, 4runner, frontier, pathfinder haha, they all end in "er"
