  1. awesome, albeit old vid, and yer, its the Mines car. GTRs absolutly EAT the road up, i just love them,
  2. awesome project, i wish you all the best with it. cant wait to see how it turns out
  3. FPR is exactly as the motor came from the factory. i have an aftermarket ecu, that is why i run my motor on a MAP sensor. I would not be worried about it at all, unless it is dropping down that far that is almost stalls.
  4. i am guessing you mean when you rev it up then let off, as the revs come down, they dive below idle? my car does this (RB20DET), reason mine does it is because it runs off the TPS and a MAP sensor, the vacum in the manifold is different when you i let off, and the ECU sets fuel and spark according to that, but once it gets down to a certain point it will come back up. if yours is doing something different, then this means nothing. or if you are still using AFMs it should not do this for my reason.
  5. That looks really sweet mate, some inspiration for me (my car goes to the body shop this week). And i agree, this site is amazing, and so are the people on here.
  6. Check out http://www.skylinesaustralia.com best RB help site i have come across
  7. i used a strong knife i had, pretty mush same way Rumnhammer said. then to get any small peices of gastket off that are left over, i used a razor blade.
  8. rotary commo is real mate, i saw a genuine one in real life, was a brock SS bosy style, blue, with the white stripes. SS RE os something on the front. didnt work to well, too much weight in them.

i dont think that there is any fuel injected 260, i think someone stuffed up by putting the e there. In australia we didnt get the 280Z, we only got the 240Z, 260Z, then went straight to the S130s. So our 260Z ran from when the 240Z stopped up until '80.

the 'e' in the engine code does not stand for over head cam. it stands for electronic fuel injection. OHC = over head cam
  11. sounds like a nice soild mount you have there. glad to hear your swap is coming along well.
  12. stop giving me ideas damn it!!! looks like i might have found a motor for my spare S130
  13. holden down here in Oz made a rotary powered commodore. called the Brock RE SS or something like that. It was a VK commodore.
  14. yes, with the lovely R26B quad rotor motor. they sound amazing. and the 13b i have worked on is definatly ALOT lighter than an L6.
  15. that last ones posted is soo sweet. i love S130s, i prefer the 2+2 over the 2 seater. and i dont know what you think is so easy for us to get in australia, i cant find any body mods anywhere, or any wheels to suit my S130. but that said, my ultimate Z is a 2 seater S30.
  16. search the forums, it has been done. look in the 'other engines' section.
  17. yeah i want them for my Z, but i cant find anyone in Australia who sell them.
  18. looks great mate, and a great choice of wheels too.
  19. there are about 3 of these in my town. 2 with 302s, one with a 3L v6. There is one that takes out the BigBlock NA every year at the biggest car show in Aus, with well over 1000hp i think, from a 500ci?? that car was amazing, first time i was it was when it drove past smoking its slicks in 3rd just keeping with the traffic of summernats.
  20. have you got specs on them? or a model name?
  21. never mind, i just found it, and for others interested http://www.crowcams.com.au/templates/Catalogue-Datsun-OHC.shtml
  22. could you post a link to that Crow cams site, i have been looking but havent seen anything, and my mate didnt think that there was much over here in the way of modifications.
  23. i really didnt expect you to have boost that early. could you post up your turbos specs such as A/R etc, this makes me reconsider the GT30R for my RB20DET
