  1. Both Harrop and Kinsler offer them in the 50mm size as standard. Poor assumption by most is that they need that size based off of what Harrop and Kinsler tell them they need. The problem with trying to find the definitive on the LS1 intake is it changes. Some 02 and up models came with the LS6 manifolds which flow better. IIRC 99-01 manifolds are different as well. I have a book at home that should list all the CFM for each year, I'm currently on vacation right now until next week. The only concerns about my setup that I've heard have been about the runner length. I'll run my setup as is first then if need be add your extension tubes to MEET my needs as they arise. Thanks, Tyson
  2. A while, hopefully summer time. I have the whole month of January to get work done with no distractions so massive chunks of the bare chassis to completion will be taken care of. Tyson
  3. I'm working on it I'm working on it!!! These parts are even cooler in person, i spent and entire day playing ITB engine http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=127335&highlight=ITB%27s Tyson
  4. Sorry for the delayed response. I have actually found semi-local buyer to do an in person exchange. Thanks for the offer!! Will work well with the soon to arrive G-nose!!!! Tyson
  5. Not to threadjack...but if you were to have harness' do you have this same problem? Basically what about it being a track only car makes it safer than being a DD car? Taking a hit at 50mph on the street is the same as taking a hit on at 50mph on a track. Is it the extra assumed equip for being a track car that makes it safer? Just trying to figure out the differentiating factor, I understand your point though Jon. Thanks, Tyson
  6. Okay I'll be the newb of the day...Can you explain why? Just can't think of a good reason to me.... Thanks, Tyson
  7. Nothing compared to your list but a couple of good ones in there. Past Month Purchases G-Nose Wiring Harness from EZ-Wiring Speartech LS1 Engine Harness LS1 ITB's Ingersol-Rand Commercial Compressor Tomorrow Going to be ordering: Fuel Cell Fuel Pump New LS1 Motor Mounts Tyson
  8. So here's the second edit, tried to keep more to the original G-nose look. Didn't mess around with color matching but more on placement etc. Tyson
  9. From my understanding no, but I am not an expert like Alan T. Also the car in 2 and 3 again if iirc are the same car at different time periods.
  10. Ahh okay I created the brush thing as well, just got to where I didn't want to do it for +300 pictures. If anyone is curious how to do mass watermarking here's a GREAT tutorial http://av.adobe.com/russellbrown/BrandingSM.mov Here's the website for other similar tutorials http://www.russellbrown.com/tips_tech.html Tyson
  11. I'll have an additional photoshop with the request coming tomorrow. Tyson
  12. CORPCRIM - I've noticed you watermark a lot of your photos. Are you using photoshop actions for that? Or some other program? Tyson
  13. Okay so been having fun with photoshop, figured I'd get some opinions on this edit of the G-nose. This CAR ONLY. Inspiration cars, these are not cars I'm wanting opinions on: Thanks!! Tyson
  14. Haha, it was fun to do. Verdict is still out on it... Sorry for the Hi-jack Wigen-out, cars looking good, can't wait for more progress photos. Tyson
  15. Wow great work BenJi!! i'll be putting in more work on mine today, yeay car time!!! Keep em coming guys, Tyson
  16. Had fun with this one, didn't do too much modifying the colors like I should. But Original: Air Dam: Photoshop: Thanks for looking, Tyson
  17. Hey Cameron I've set up a couple of networks, my Brand peference is Buffalo Routers if you can find them. I've had Linksys, Netgear, and D-link routers all are decent no major complaints for simple networking. I would recommend you going with an wireless N capable router even if your modem is at G speeds, no point in bottlenecking it if modem can run the "N" speeds occasionally. Just my .02 Tyson
  18. So finally got a digital SLR. Went with the Canon Rebel XTi 10mp version, can't be happier!! Anyways this was my final for my Photo 1 class, my goal was to take a relatively unsporty car look more sporty and fun to drive. Let me know what you think. It was only me taking the photo's with NO tripod or flash on any of them, so I couldn't play around with slow shutter speeds at night like I had wanted too. My Favorite, nice little lense flair in there. This is completely unmodified, no photoshop at all.
  19. I'm looking forward for the next test. Just let us know when and where and how much $$. Also would like more testing with the G-nose and non-standard G-nose front valance. Tyson
  20. ?? The previous owner has already welded them together, so I need to find out how to seperate them without a major PITA or find an exchange...I can't use them as is right now.... Tyson
  21. Bringing up an old thread I know. I'm trying to reverse this, the previous owner welded the headlight buckets to the fender. However, I'm going with a G-nose so I need to reverse this. I'm wanting opinions on what or how I should do this? My only other option is hope someone wants to trade mine for unmodified 240z fenders... Thanks in advance! Tyson
  22. Yes JohnC offers them through betaMotorsports. http://www.betamotorsports.com/products/index.html Enjoy! Tyson
  23. Use GoogleSketchup, its free and they give you a lot of tutorials on how to use it. Tyson
  24. DatsunD I see you're in Bakersfield, I'm from there, going home tomorrow actually. Glad to see another Z guy on HybridZ from Bako. Check out http://www.centralvalleyz.org quite a few good guys out there for a local club/event if you aren't already a member. Congrats on getting the car running. Tyson p.s. If you need pictures of your car let me know, I've been trying my hand at amateur car photography. Would be good practice for me and free HIGH resolution pictures for you.
