  1. I really like my BMW 325i auto when we had it. It was quick and fun and got me into a lot of stupid trouble (driver). It was super clean, the only problems we had was the Heater sucked and would take close to 30mins to get warm, it most likely could have easily be fixed. The reason we sold it was the cost of maintence, close to 100 dollars to replace the side mirror (used). However if you take good care they will last a long time and are very fun to drive. Hope that this was insightful. Tyson
  2. I must say I appreciate the design changes since this. http://www.emrichdesign.com/pages/Znissan.html
  3. Oh great now I gotta clean off my computer....jeez. That thing is WICKED!! it would look good in just about any car i could imagine. Tyson
  4. Thats pretty cool stuff. Just curious is that pass in the dirt is that legal or what happens in a situation like that? Docked time or what? Looks like the Porsche is bit quicker in the straight but the 240 is better in the turns. good driving. Tyson
  5. eh, its cool and all but i'd rather have the new bugatti that does 0-62mph in 2.9 secs and has the newest top speed for a production car of 253mph. it only sells for a 1,500,000 though. I like the looks of it better as well. Tyson
  6. Okay so as I looked at it some more and played with it a little. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=4426&size=big&cat=500 If you look at the side profile, to do what i believe you are talking about Mat73GNZ you would have to move the air dam back to the red line in picture 4 and then trim off around the wheel opening. Another problem that I forsee is that the angle of the blue line won't match up with the angle on the red line. I like these picture edits better I didn't have to modify the bumer color to make it stand out. Tyson
  7. Some different views.
  8. Damn speeder sorry for this damn mispelling on the air dam. When you look at the original of the Type 3 the cuve on the air-dam doesn't match directly to the grill insides. It seems to me like you would just have to do some cutting and shaving then patch in the areas that you cut. Seems relatively simple to mod, but i don't know if the dam would become flimse if that big chunk was removed. Tyson
  9. Well definitely needs a nice looking intercooler in there. In my opinion its kind of a different twist on most of the other MSA Air-damns out there. Once I make the deciscion on what car I buy I hope to do a modification like this. It seems cheaper than having a complete custom one made. Tyson
  10. Okay I'm looking at the MSA type 3 front air dam and I like parts of it however I messed around with a cheap photo-editer to see what it would look like without the middle bumper going across. I like it withough gives that big mouth look. The photo edits are crappily done so if anyone wants to take the time to edit it right go ahead. This is not my car but thanks to 2003z for posting pics. Let me know what you think. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=4425 Tyson
  11. thehelix112 I love that program it is extremely awesome!!!! I love toying around with all the different motor combinations. So far the favorite one that I've built on there is L28 Block, LD28 Crank, P90 Head, L24 Rods, RB26DETT Pistons, 1mm Head gasket. Gives me a 3.0 stroker with 8.3:1 static compression perfect for a turbo app. Back to the thread: It seems like you'd have a lot of turbo lag on this setup due to the super low compression. The boost would be good if you were ever able to get it to full boost. It seems like that engine would have to be turning some massive rev's to be able to get enough exhaust flow to spin a turbo to 30psi. I could be wrong though. Tyson
  12. Are you sure about the bore on the LD28 only being 84.5?? I was basing if of the ozdat engine calculator. It could be wrong, just want to confirm this so I don't give wrong info again. Tyson
  13. Thats seems interesting and more power to you if you do it. The LD28 only had close to 83HP didn't it though? Of course 25-30psi would get you some decent hp numbers. My only main concern is how your going to make the internal parts to where they can sustain that much boost. I at one point was looking into Vegetable oil setup for my dads Duramax truck. Its very interesting stuff. Tyson
  14. LD Bore is: 86mm LD Stroke: 83mm L28E Bore: 86mm L28E Stroke: 79mm L24 Bore: 83 L24 Stroke: 73.7mm Diesel fuel I believe can handle 25-30 psi however the rest of the engine might be different (pistons, etc). I love this website http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/enginedesign/ it was shown to me by another member, its awesome for toying around with different engine designs. Tyson
  15. I think Gollum meant "I hate constantine." Sin City was not a scary movie and wasn't marketed to be one its just one of the "darker" comic book series out there. Now for good movies that will keep you up all night I'll recommend some of my favorites and other recommendations from other people: Requiem for Dream (should be the new DARE program) Full Metal Jacket (Stanley Kubrick) Fraility The Shining Silence of the Lambs Red Dragon (okay nothing really special) A Clock Work Orange (Stanley Kubrick) American Psycho Memento The Ring (heard it was scary) Most of these aren't the whole gory slasher film type, however they are F*ck with your mind type which in my opinion is worst. I'm a huge movie buff so I'd like to think I have good tast . Tyson
  16. According to http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/enginedesign/ you can use RB26DETT Pistons however without other mods you're going to have 6.306:1 compression ratio. Again according to the link you can use the KA24DE which would require you to bore to 89mm and you'd still only have a 7.012:1 compression ratio. So nothing really practical that would necessarily save you some money. The compression is static compression fyi. Tyson

    On3go

Ittts noot like i can't readd its just diffarent intrepitations. Its always going to be "on the go" for me, so the joke is on you.... Tyson
  18. This I do not know I'll do some research to find out, what the interchangeability is and let everyone know whats up. Tyson
  19. In my opinion the best explanation for me was heard by the show "rides" on TLC and it described the 2 differences in which you are talking about. There are the "Hot-rodders" who buy the bolt ons, have the money for all the shop work with out consideration of cost, nor time spent. More of a toy than an actual car. The other definition for the other group and lack of better terminology "Rat-rodders" in which they do exactly what you've done taken parts from a melee of different brands to make a car that meshes together and is also done on a budget, not necesarily because of not having the money but because anyone can just go out and do what the "hot-rodders" do and bolt something on. That being sad I do commend you on you're ability to restrain yourself when they tell you are wrong when you know you're right, I couldn't have done it. Kudos. Tyson PS-I still want to see some vids of the RX-7 V8
  20. SUWEEEEEEEEEETTTT!!!!!!!!! I love that color scheme, nicely done work. Wish I had half the talent and time to something similar. Again awesome. Tyson

    On3go

haha thats funny because I always read it "on the go" for some odd reason. I gues "on 3 go" makes more sense Tyson
  22. Well thats good that the Z32 SR is doing well, and bad about the delays. Any idea on what the kit is going to cost and wether it will work with the Z33 6 Speed as well? Thanks, Tyson
