  1. Wow!! Thats a smart lookin wagon Clint! Nice one! Did seeing Rob (RIPS) project get you thinking?
  2. What brand of rods and pistons have you used Rob? Are those assembled RB30 short blocks on the shelve??
  3. Jeff, Your work is just amaizing!!!! Myself and a engineer friend sat down last night and looked at all your pic's of your fabrication work, rear susp and diff mounting etc.....just beautiful, we are very impressed.....oh to have 1/4 your skills and access to equipment. We do like the look of your diff mount (replacement for moustach bar) couldnt get a good look at your front mount for the diff, what have you done there?? Jeff, you are a wizard!
  4. Hey Monster, What is that brake setup on your car, sizes and who's kit?? Looks good.
  5. Yes, dead keen on a update, approx availbility date, and an idea of how much hard earned cash needs to be set aside
  6. That sump is looking good Rob, i think i know who will be modding my Z31 RB20 pan....... Clint T
  7. Yep i'm dead keen to see it run too! Nice work Rob, makes me feel very hopeless, when it comes to progress with my car! Oh too have a full on fab shop in the garage (complete with fabricators of your skill) I noticed you have an HKS header on the car, and not one of your own manifolds, whys that? Your custom headers look supurb on your website. Clint.
  8. Its all taking shape nicly! I'm liking it. With that type of front diff mount (where the diff "sits on" the mount) would there be any issues with the front of the diff torquing upward away from the mount and only relying on the thru bolts to stop it? or has this mounting technique already been proven to be fine?
  9. http://www.rodshop.com.au/mounts.htm Part # EM81 is what several of us here on HybridZ have used. Quite cheap!
  10. Yes, i have the OEM GTR driveshaft, so was planning on using the end of that. Cheers.
  11. Here's a pic for everyone of the pinion flange in question...
  12. Joel, i have one of these GT-R diffs, do you know if you can use the pinion flange the way it is, or does it have to be replaced with something of smaller dimensions?? Cheers, Clint
  13. Here you go, i believe the inner CV flange is the same as the Z32 300zxTT
  14. Nice one Rob! I look forward to seeing that run! I will be in touch with you again soon, i am back into my project now. Clint T
  15. The Z32 300zx TT and R32 GTR rear ends, are pretty much bullet proof, many stock rear end GTR's run in the 9's with no problems. The outer CV is huge in comparison to the 240z/280z stub axle.
  16. Thanks for all this info Ben. Ross, i would be interested in a kit as Ben mentions above (already sent you an email) Clint.
  17. Rob, once again you have amazed us with your 3D design skills. Someone will get this conversion completed soon i hope, so that i dont have to go thru all the drama of fabbing my own, just buy it and bolt on my parts, nice work. Keep us posted. Clint.
  18. Hey Gab, Nice work! I have had my doner parts in the garage for 12+ months waiting to put it all together myself, now i wont have too, just buy yours! Looking forward to seeing this come together and availble for sale, keep us posted. Clint.
  19. Hey there Rob, i am back! Hey i am really interested in your comments above about your design/plans for parts for the use of Z32 hubs etc to use the Z32 outer cv. As i also have the Z32 hub/bearing carrier and shafts and outer cv's etc. I had been keeping an eye on Jamie T's fabb'd up rear strut etc, but he is/has sold his car i hear? Could you drop me a line with any info about this as well as the Techno tuning stuff as well. Getting back into my car now, so will be needing to do this soon. Cheers, Clint
  20. Sounds like its time for some dot rated drag tires as well as the new clutch my friend
