  1. I will second that. I was pushing 340hp out of my setup with stock internals with zero issues. These engines are very strong in stock form. I would be more concerned about detonation and tuning.
  2. I believe it's 3/4 inch offset closer to the passenger side. So, yes it is definitely noticable.
  3. Price for diff is decent if you like the ratio. Nothing you have is bolt on with that setup. You would have to figure out a front mount since flipping the MB won't work. You could use the calipers if you fab or order brakets from someone like Ross at Modern Modersports aka "Ross C" on the board. Good luck.
  4. I was driving back from San Barbara, CA at midnight right along the beach one night. I was running 14 lbs on my L28ET and it felt like 50 more ponies than my usual 340 during the day. What a rush!
  5. This gets my vote too. If you have spark and decent fuel pressure (bad gas or something intermitant clogging the filter) then it sure sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Good luck.
  6. With that setup you will get great gas mileage but you will take a lot longer to get into the midrange power band of your motor. With that tranny, 1st, 2nd and 5th are taller gears. IMO your car will feel like a slug with that gearing. I recommend a 3.70 diff, you will still get great mileage.
  7. Pretty sure JamieT confirmed all Q45 diffs to be R200s.
  8. I think the bimmer is on the ugly side too. I also think the 350Z looks nothing like the S30 but keeps the vision of a true affordable sports car alive and well.
  9. If I am not mistaken, I believe the Germans do on some of their cars. Nice work Terry!
  10. I didn't think I would like those, but they look really good. Just goes to show that you have to put them on the car to get a good look. Pretty sweet.
  11. My 240Z running stock motor I had 200lb Front and 225lb Rear. IMHO this is about as stiff as you would want to go since yours is lighter. Probably 175lb front and 200lb rear would be my recommendation. Good luck.
  12. If you plan to launch that car better scrap the R200 idea and go R230. If you are not launching it then R200 will be just fine. Good luck.
  13. Ah, yes...love in the air for our fellow mankind. Statitically speaking someone will crash and it will become available eventually.
  14. Glad to hear you went that route. Better safe than sorry.
  15. You could probably fix it as described. I personally would get another stub axle because I wouldn't want to risk something I wasn't 100% sure would hold under stress. Just my .02. Mark
  16. Yes, its been done....try this link http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=91359&highlight=supra+swap Good Luck, Mark
