  1. Well put David. As any of you know, buying an LS1 Z for $5k or less is a once in a lifetime deal for now. That deal came and went when Dale sold his car. There is a project LS1 Z for sale now that isn't completed and asking is more than $6k. I wouldn't even sell mine for $6k and it is no where near the shape as David's car. You will need at least $10k for a decent to nice LS1 Z if someone is willing to part with the car. I am def in the hole almost $20k in my car
  2. Look at your yard space!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Geez, I grew up in NYC, I can't imagine as a kid having all the room to play with....then being older and having all that room to play with (Garage full of toys). How much snow you guys expected to get?

  5. LOL Tom! Well I only drove one stock s30 and hmmmm....can't remember what that felt like! Cygnusx1 (Dave) is the first Z I ever drove! As for as for Joe......he has 2 v8 Z's and one really really fast turbo Z....=) Tom I will not let you down...I promise....I will be looking for a 510 coupe~
  6. Here is a pic to help Joe out...I think these wheels look dead sexy on the s30!
  7. Thanks Tom. Here is a vid for you to watch: Then check out the others from the same guy who makes our vids from the Sunday night racing....if that doesn't help...pm me your number and I'll talk you into it! =)
  8. Dave you parked in front of a "No Parking Anytime" sign to take the pic =P Wish I had a car to go have fun with in the snow!
  9. That Z hasn't seen any winters right? lol
  10. Download the file, then extract it. Open the resulting GTR2 folder, inside it you will find another GTR2 folder. Copy and paste that GTR2 folder over your existing GTR2 game folder. Allow it to overwrite existing files and folders. In my case the GTR game folder is located on the root of my "C" drive. So all I had to do was drag and drop it onto my "C" Drive and then click "Okay" to overwriting the existing folders and such. Now go into your GTR2 game folder. There are two installation files you need run. 1. If you have not installed the games patch already do it now by running the file, GTR2_1100_US_Update. 2. Now run the file, BMW M3 GTR Challenge v1_0 by matz13 and G-Sauce for GTR2. All Done! Your ready to play. Look online for server name Stalker, the password is "ardy". I'm not sure about the teamspeak server just yet. If you want to try using Skype we can try that for now. It's a big file so be prepared to let it download for a while, it's almost 400MB. You've got a file called "GTR2.ace" (376.4 MB) waiting for download. You can click on the following link to download: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TDROAT6K
  11. Mike has the car home now..... early x-mas gift to himself! Anyone has a source on a crack free 260/280 dash? Would be great!
  12. I have no room, plus the snow is like a very long car wash. Plus if you keep salt off of it, it won't be so bad.
  13. The post below is what got me thinking the other day! I will have three Z's come next week and was faced with a lil problem...too many Z's.....too many projects!! So this is what Dave thought I should do........ ....well this is what I came up with. The new '70 car will be my street Z sleeper w/ L30ET. The Evil Z will get a make over. I am going to transfer Evil Z's drive train and suspension to the red car '71, which will become the NEW Evil Z. Will not be a rush job and will be exactly the way I want it. So the original car I had the '73 is not in bad shape honestly. It would take very little to get it back to what the other cars are. It was a great learning car for me and I am attached to it. The worst part of the car is the rear quarters that need to be repaired or flared! So I am giving the car as a roller to a friend of mine who loves the car and just graduated from Wyo Tech yesterday as his own project car. He already knows he is getting the 84 Maxima as his DD under the conditions that he can't sell it....it was my first car! He got into the BMW tech school and will be attending in Feb 09. I am sure he will be excited but I just wanted to show him I was proud of him and I know the Z isn't a new car but it has history, hahahahaha. It is known around NYC! Just for those who are reading.....good things happen when you work hard and keep trying for your dreams. Life at times may seem like it can never get any better but always take the time out to think of the things/people who make you happy! Ok enough mushy stuff....back to football
  14. Just let me know so we can get you the tracks needed.
  15. Because Jeff I have this inside: Plus I still live at home....I own nothing but the cars! =)
  16. Hmmm That pic is about an hour old.....and the snow is still coming down!

  18. I live in New City....give me a buzz if you want tomorrow, I will be around. 718-644-8100 Clive
  19. I own three and will be down to two soon. I think I get about 2-3 per yr!
  20. I think they were using the tree as a jack....lol
  21. How are the copper lines joint by the firewall? Just connected to rubber lines that go to the heater core? That is a cool idea and I have never seen that before. Very clean install and can't wait to see vids!
  22. Leaving Daves house ^^^^^^ last year in the middle of Jan, I believe it was low 20's outside. My Z has no heat and has lots of unplugged holes in the firewall. I use engine heat as heat but that doesn't work out much when driving 60 mph....lol Very cold!
