  1. ok thanks Mike, do I need the Supra plugs to connect them to the wire harness? I tried plugging one in just to see, and the Datsun plug did not fit.
  2. I am sick and tired of racing 350z's, 06 GTO's, Mustang 5.0's, Stealths, and that one guy in the Mazda ??Miata?? (what was he thinking) anyway. I'm tired of beating all of them pretty good. I want to rip them all a new a$$ hole! I've been really thinking, reading and looking at Megasquirt. Then I dug up my Supra injectors that I got off e-bay and noticed they are small looking? Can anyone tell me for sure if these are indeed 440cc injectors? The # one them is: 23250-42010 then on the other side 6h22 and they don't just plug in like my 370cc's do. 370on left "440" on right
  3. wow thanks for all the info guys! Yes I do want to go to a larger turbo, t3/t4? Holset?? I am now thinking I may not put the head on untill I get the bigger turbo, and an ECU that will handle more boost. My goals are above 300hp. I have some turbo Supra 440 injectors. If I can get the money for a MSnS, and a larger turbo. Then I could put the P90 on and run the 7.4:1 cr but have the boost and fuel to make it feel right. I would like to run closer to 20 lbs of boost? From what I've read that might be TOO much. But after seeing all of these videos of Z's with 300-400hp all I can say is I WANT THAT. So I guess my goal is more like 350-400??
  4. I crushed (just a little) the spring in my stock FPR and was able to get up to 60 psi of fuel pressure at full throttle. I put a socket over the little hose nipple and smacked it with a hammer untill my fuel pressure was where I thought it should be. I think it was hitting about 60psi its been awhile.

  6. Thank you clifton, so I don't need to take anything off. I have cam tower shims now on my n/a head. I do not know if the P90 is straight. what if I took off just the thickness of the shim? so as to just sort of resurface it, then put the shims on when I install the P90? Or should I just take it to the head shop to make sure its straight and if it is just put it on my motor?
  7. someone please shoot me, I took the head to the shop today. He said he just needs to know how much to take off. I can not figure it out. I have dished pistons, how much do I take off the P90 to get a 8.5:1 cr:confused: :confused:
  8. So what CR do I want to be at for the turbo? I'm taking the P90 to a head shop and need to know how much to mill the head so I will be at what ever a good turbo CR is. I know that if I just put it on my block with my dished pistons it will be a real low CR. So what CR do I tell the guy I want to be at so he can mill the P90? I know I probly need to be lower than what I'm at now but how much????
  9. is a stock turbo 7.4-1? and a n/a 8.3-1? I'm searching and this is what I found. I want to set up my P90 head for my N/A turbo. Its a 78 so I guess I have dished pistons? so I don't want to just put the head on I think my compression would be to low?
  10. yes the n/a head I have now has spacers. I want to drop the head off tomorrow at the head shop. If the guy knows the stock turbo motors c/r he says he can figure out and mill it at what ever c/r I want. I don't want to be as high as I am now (I don't think?) But I want to be a little higher than a stock turbo. I have read and heard from guys that say the stock turbo c/r feels a little doggie off boost.
  11. so if they are dished and that will get me 7.?to1 don't I want to take a little off the P90? What is the compression ration of a stock turbo? and what are you guy close to or over 300HP C/R?? I want to set it up to have a good TURBO C/R

  13. This is the place. Use the search up top and type any thing you want in there and it will all come to you. Are you wanting to put the turbo onto a non turbo motor? As for the t04b, I'm not really the man to answer that, more like the man next to the man.
  14. I was looking at that in the photo also, after I put it all together. I was wondering if it was the back side of a bolt? There is a little more shaft play than when I put the turbo in also, I'd just really like to put a t3/t4 or a Holset in, + my P90 head+ MSns+ my Supra 440 injectors+bigger intercooler+3" downpipe+paint.......does the list ever end?
  15. No, when I got this and another volvo i/c 2 for the price of one. I sold the good one, this one had damage to 4 of the rails. So I crimped off the 4 rails, but had to open up the fins to get to them. Looks pretty bad hu? But it was doing the job. just glad to get it out of my car!
  16. Its black with black interior, seats are ripped up. body looks ok. turbo frozen, looks like someone tried to pull the tranny.

  18. Money is real tight. I'm self employed, I just spent $462 on the back door of my delivery truck, and $226 for front tires, and brakes. Lets not even talk about taxes! anyway I went to the junk yard where the old guy has no idea about what to charge for stuff like this and found a Conqust TSI? grabed the i/c and he said " I dun-no how 'bout 20 bucks?" The wheels on that car look awsome! 16inch fat rims in the back, and a little narrower in the front--but 5 bolt. I just had to get that Volvo i/c outta there it had a big hole that I fixxed. The air feels real hot going into the Conqust i/c and pretty cool comming out much better than the volvo, I guess because this one is all aluminum?

  20. Before I put my intercooler in I ran the boost up as much as 10 psi then got some detonation, so don't go any higher than that with only your turbo injectors. I also welded a BOV onto some 2 1/2 inch pipe. Welding is fun!
  21. It does not seem like I need to do that, But I'm going to be looking for a holset turbo. THEN paint my car. Its funny I was in the middle of the process of starting to get the car painted, then I found that damn turbo motor, and know I have a spotted primer car with a turbo f-ing hauls a$$

  23. OK!!!!!!! Got on the highway. First off I have it set so I can hit 14.5 to 15 psi in 2nd gear. on the highway in 5th with my foot to the floor it reads 16psi So I went from 4-5 pounds of creep to about 1. I can live with that! By the way I'm going to turn it down just a bit 12 or 14ish pounds? I don't want to blow this thing up. Thanks again to Hybrid Z and all who post here, I would'nt know any of all I have done to this car with out all of you!
