  1. i used the kit from datsunrestore.com and it was nice. I would highly suggest going all out and get seat foam for both seats and the covers at once. Plan on a weekend to install and take your time, they do fit very nice and turned out great, but if you look you can tell that i am not a pro. they pretymuch look orig (i had horizontal stripes, went with vertical. overall, I am very pleased but i do want to cage it at some point in time.. then the race seats come.
  2. Your vin tag gives the Gross weight. For a 2+2 that includeds 4 people and luggage, maybe a dog to disney world. Need to put your car on the scales to find out what it weighs
  3. the fluid should stay in the lines, not causing the seals to leak. I do not have first hand experience with this.

  5. I built my first engine at 17, and i'm not close to stopping! Keep everything clean and labled. Have a helper (clean hands) take pics of everything and make sure you are organized. Use plenty of lube and KEEP EVERYTHING CLEAN. shane
  6. I have the white face ones, my dash isn't back together yet (full rhino treatment) but i'll be sure to put up pics when they are done. My needles are painted orange with nail polish for the night time reason.

  10. You're looking for it to be even, not so much high. Hey_Allen got it right on. If your compression shoots way up in a cylinder when oil is in it then you need to do a little digging, or some gambling. But if they all go up about the same percentage then you're good to go.

  12. MLS is the norm for most guys. block needs nothing. as long as it is a good tune, it will run on the proper gas. put some forged pistons in; good luck breaking it.

  16. quick 260 question... I've got a pin keeping my speedo from going below 0 mph. My gauge face does not have a cutout for the pin... what to do? Cut the pin? Will the speedo go down to the 6 o'clock position? when the car is moving will it be off the difference from the zero MPH to the 6 o'clock? Should i send it back and get one with a hole for the speedo?

  18. The stahl header is 3 into 2 and made local (20 miles south) with AMAZING quality. They will even put the o2 bungs on there for me. Do you happen to have a link for the nissan comp header? i haven't been able to come up with anything through lots of searching! http://web.archive.org/web/20020828193907/www.buckeyetriumphs.org/technical/Carbs/AFMonitor/AFMonitor.htm This shows how to build a graphical display for the o2 gauge. I suck at figuring out circuts but i would love to narrow it down, I know not all of those values are needed. I have a Dawes Devices in my turbo minivan and it works like a charm.   19. How would you handle dual NBo2? Or just run one and hope the other carb is the same? Tune one carb at a time? Are there any datalogging programs that you guys have used with NB o2's?
  20. as long as it leaks kind of close each time i fire it up, i'm cool with it.
