  5. 95 SL2, uses more oil than gas.. but will still pull 37mpg highway, about 32 mix. Eibachs and KYBs on top of the already stout(for an econobox) suspension make it a fun little ride. It has enough power to merge, but not get me in trouble. On top of all of this, the 95's have the old body with the new interior... can't beat a factory hybrid... burnouts/not checking oil at every fuel stop kill these cars.

  10. First gen DSM BOV, they hold 17psi stock and you're able to mod them (not crushing) to hold 30+psi... Need more air movement?? use 2? they're cheap enough and can be polished/painted to be classy-like. Just make sure you put a filter on them, they're open at idle.   14. E30 for the win. the 325i head has some great turbo manifolds for it from cartech. The 318i gets great MPG, although the 325 isn't bad at all. The low compression 3253(2.8L) has low compression and the i head bolts right up to it allowing for use of the turbo manifold... Stay away from the iX if it is your daily driver... they are reliable... but IF they break, they stay broken until you hit the lotto. www.e30tech.com

  17. on the cheap.. Hockey tape. I haven't had it leave a residue yet, but I can't say that it won't. Does the job for $2 a roll.
  18. That looks like it might be centralized in the rails... Looks like a REALLY good encounter with a speed bump. If the rest of the car is solid (bat tray, firewall, floors) I would say go for it. Maybe the speed bump encounter just weekend the metal and the harsh NE winters took over from there?
  19. One now, one later? I plan on my midlife crisis to be an Opel GT... with a turbo rotary. But for now, the Zs are relatively cheap to work on as long as you don't get 'while i'm at it.'
  20. Isn't there a loaded garage on base with lifts and whatnot? Sorry for not having a price; I'm just told that the bases around here have loaded garages that you can "rent" for 50 cents or so per hour. Shane
  21. If your flat black paint is getting scuffed when cleaning it, use some of the spray on chalkboard paint. It is a bit more expensive ($4 a can or so) but it will not scuff. I have done a few car hoods and my saturn's factory spoiler with this... always comes out great! Shane
  22. i make about 15k a year, 18 credit/semester student@ community college. I made the decision yesterday to join the army reserves in order to afford transferring to Millersville. Gotta give to take. At least I start as an E3...
