The 240 bumpers are much nice looking. I dislike the larger 280 style. Too bulky.

OKAY...a garage with a basement. BIG DEAL! Its rather nice but I dont get all the excitment. How do you get the engine and tranny down there for a rebuild? Unless you plan on living out there......? Now if it had PhantomPark......!

As near as I can tell ....its a mock turbo interooler. Once he replaces his facia it will look like he has a turbo becuase you can see the intercooler through the grill. All he needs now is one of those thingies that attach to the exhaust and makes a turbo sound!!!.....and a playing card and clothes peg for his rear left wheel............................................ HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

Alan OK ...he is not dense, I will take your word. But impressions are everything. When he cant bother to provide a literate and thought out response ....what is the consumer to think. Instead of sticking up for him, help him out and let him know that he needs to take more care and time in how he replies to potential buyers.

I asked the seller a question about the hardware and he seems a bit dense! Short and rude response...I had to ask another question and he still didnt take the time to respond properly. I cant confirm what hardware is missing and he is answering in two words. On another note I checked his selling history and he has sold one other set...he may have more? But I dont get the warm and fuzzy based on his replies.

I saw one at a show...it was no big deal. nicely done but I have seen a lot better by individuals. There were a number of parts that were unavailable so NISSAN just fit aftermarket parts on...like the seat belts. I actually have a line for the interior door panel that I have been selling. Beautiful reproductions of the original 240Z pieces. I have 4 sets left......$550 for the pair...delivered.

I dont like white gauges but that dash cover is fantastic!!!! Now that its been done a few times I wish someone would come up with a pattern for the rest of us ....or even a finished product to buy. I would buy a 240 version right away....in leather! Anyone game to make a few bucks? Now you need to create one for the consol! Again...great work!

I think the idea is excellent but I doubt Id go with the carbs. Throttle bodies are the way to go. FI is much easier to tune, a lot more efficient and will make a smoother ride. Oh ya, if you insist on carbs...go mukuni! IMO I found them way easier to tune than that other brand. Saying that..the reason I went turbo/FI is because I wanted to learn something new....and I was tired of playing with carbs.

Nice collection of pics. Just shows that the japan auto scene is as diverse as ours. Race cars muscle cars, rods, and even a few low riders. All great cars. The one thing I have a hard time with is the Pantera style hatch on the Z cars. Never was fond of it and never will be. Hey did you see that Challenger....all jacked up inthe rear!

The first engine I ever built was a 3.1L 11.5:1 L6. What a fun way to go...instant response, tons of torque. Loved it! But alas.....fuel was always a pain and I was retarding the ignition more days than not. Its wasnt worth the frustration and I ended up putting in a 2mm head gasket. Maybe an option for you as well?

You may not even need the entire harness ....but perhaps just a dash harness? Take it apart and look for the problems....New OEM harnesses or a decent used ones are available. Ive seen harness sections on ebay many times. No point in having someone charge you lots of money to make a new one. There are many available....In fact I have a very nice 280Z harness, just not sure what year?? Bottom line....if your a Z owner learn to do repairs yourself. You will be surprised how easy it is......and fun.
