A long shot but are the injectors the correct size? If they are too big you may be running rich. Is it running strong or is it a bit flat on power?

Did you contact MM....its appears to be a mistake that you need to take up with them.

I run the double pass unit simiar to the pic below. It works great and lines everything to keep thinks clean. And most importantly, Ive never had a heating problem! Mind you I do have a pretty slick fitted aluminum shroud.

I actualy found the Mikuni tripples easy to work on....much easier than the Weber brand. I bought jets at a local motorcycle shop for dirt cheap and got them running great. Just takes time and patience. But EFI is ultimately better.

Damn right Im showing my age! and proud of it! However it appears that age has nothing to do with it....Yesterday I also asked my sons, 15 and 17.... how to use this freakin thing and guess what....they didnt really understand it either. Both had accounts and both gave up on twitter shortly after registering. They agreed there was absolutely no value to it and indicated only losers tweet. None of their friends tweet...or dont admit to it. Both are very active...... both have lives! On the flip side...we are members of Hybridz!...doesnt that make us part of the "social generation"?.......

What I find odd about the hot rod article is they used powder as a primer and then applied body filler on top ......? followed by wet paint! Odd sequence. Yup it will wrap around edges but farady will prevent it from getting into corners.

ok....I do stand corrected...BMW does use a clear powder top coat...but colour? Are you sure? http://www.usautoparts.net/bmw/bmw/assembly/painting.htm Agreed....powder is a very tough paint and near indistructable. Thats why custom motorcycle frames are PP'd. The rest is wet painted for optimal appearance.

And the wheels are made by????? VERY nice!
