So I got this knock-off of a reproduction Kameari seat. The stock seat belts feel totally inadequate as they hang across the bolsters of the seat, inches in front of my waist. I'm aware that the only DOT approved solution is the stock seat with the stock belt. I wanted something that works for autocross so I'm not driving from the passenger side every time I turn left. I rarely drive on the street (mainly just to car meets). Being a California car very few more modern seats fit without modifying the cat hump. So, what are my options here? It looks like I'm going to need a 4/5 point with a harness bar (and headrest) behind me, and to slot the bottom/sides of the seat?

Hello all!! After replacing the floor pans and bracket base, I broke off a stud on my donor veh 1970 seat frame. It's a very unique bolt. Anyone have any ideas on where I can get a replacement and how to remove the old and install the new one...Help!!!

Did a quick search and did not find anything concrete. Have sourced Recaro Evo 8 seats. Has anyone installed these into their car? If so, any insight into fitment issues and bracket work. I know that the 240 can present a narrow space for an aftermarket seat. Any info is appreciated. Cheers, Ian

Hey guys, I'm in the process of putting my head back together and it seems along the way I lost a washer. It's the inner valve seat washer that sits on the lip below the valve stem seal. There's a larger washer that sits down underneath it. I haven't been able to find them online anywhere so I'm trying here. Hopefully someone has one. - Brandon

So on my 260Z the floor pans are shot. No nice way to put it. And the Dingus that Owned it prior to me I guess was just trying to make it driveable and he just riveted in a little piece of sheet metal in the drivers floor board. Well anyway it has led to a huGe mess in the floor pans and the bottom of the sEat rails look like they have a little structural rust on them. My plan is to get a recaro or some kind of after market seat with the avaliability of a harness to be installed. So my question is would it be worth trying to salvage the front seat rail or just cut the thing out with no discretion? Not to mention does anyone have a few pictures of where they installed the new floor pans and support rails from http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/30-7317. I really want to know how far back im gonna have to cut and also how far up the trans tunnel I need to tear the fabric. Thanks guys!

I wanted to be able to drive my car while I work on the rear area, so i created a frame for a temporary fuel cell that fits onto the passenger seat bracket. This way, i will be able to drive it back and forth to my mechanic... and just work on it a slowly.. a bit at a time. It is a 5 gallon fuel cell. I have a 16 gallon for the permanent one that i will be putting in the rear.
