MazerRackham
I've got this oneI used to bike everywhere before I got a car. Needless to say I was pretty ripped. Starting to want to get back to that. Edited December 22, 2012 by MazerRackham
BluDestiny
I own a Kona dew delux, but I'm not pro race or anything. Decided to start biking to work (about 4 miles away) back in high school. started riding all over the. I've done one century ride but that is the farthest I will ever go. Bike is currently in Cali, but this semester I will be taking it with me to FL to bike
rossman
My other bike is a Cannondale M500 that I picked up used in 2000. The rear derailer and front shocks are completely wore out now and need to be replaced. I think I'm going to rebuild it. The frame is in good shape and pretty light for a mountain bike. I went for a 40 mile ride today. The weather in Houston is cool and clear....very nice. This frame is fairly heavy for a composite but it soaks up bumps well and pedaling effort seems pretty efficient. fhptom
I have a Trek 2300, al frame with carbon forks and rear stay, Ultegra components. I am up to about 2500 miles on this bike and need to go out and put some more miles on it to keep the Holiday lbs off.

texis30O
Way to step it up Rossman. I sold my Lightspeed and my Trek Fuel..... no more bikes for me....all cars and car parts.....
rossman
Seems I'm going the opposite way. I'm buying more bikes and spending more time on them than the car. I'm totally addicted to suffering on the bike lol!
HuD 91gt
Ghost AMR Plus 5900 and a Jamis Ventura Race for the road. Both fairly basic, but they have just the right parts to keep me going, and I also don't have to compete like an expert to deserve the better bikes

rossman
I work for Huffy Bicycles It's all good...it's not so much what you ride as how you ride it. Anybody that can out sprint or climb me on a Huffy or any other bike definitely has my respect
dsommer
We build bikes for the masses. I don't know too many people that are going to W-M looking for a $X,XXX bike I'm just happy to be associated with the industry.
slownrusty
Rossman - That Propel road bike is way cool...how much does it weigh? I am also in Houston. I ride an older Cannondale R700, but looking for a replacement this year with the hopes of landing on a Carbon frame bike.
rossman
Hi Yasin! We've met before. I sold you a set of swastika wheels. That is a clean, good looking classic bike you got there. My Propel Advanced SLR with with SLR full carbon wheels (different than pictured), carbon bidon cage, Ultegra pedals, Fizik saddle, etc. weighs 17.1 lbs. Test drive a good carbon bike and you'll be amazed at how light and smooth ride. A lot of people choke on the price but it's well worth it if you can afford it. I usually ride with the Space City Cycling Club here in Clear Lake. You should join us. Edited March 10, 2016 by rossman
slownrusty
Hi Ross - Nice to hear from you and hope all is well. Thanks for the compliments on my old roadie. I will definitely look seriously into a Carbon framed bike this year, the weight of yours is remarkable as I am sure I have about 5 or so more pounds on my bike. If I am down in your neck of the woods I will certainly like to tag along on a group ride (probably towards the rear of the group..laughing!). Cheers.
