Ty ty
Hey guys I just wanted to get your take putting an Eleanor front body kit on a 280z the 280z is 6.7 inches shorter in width than the mustang that the body kit was designed for so I would have to do some modifications but the basic shape of the front ends look pretty close I was just wondering what you guys thought I want to do something that nobody has done before

Six_Shooter
Why? Why wouldn't you just buy a Mustang if you want your car to look like one?
Ryan Merrill
Not sure why you would want to do that but it would take major mods to the Eleanor nose and to the Datsun body.
Ty ty
Sorry if I didn't make it clear but I don't want my datsun to look like a mustang and when I said body kit I meant the front airdam I just want something that looks more aggressive that I'm not going to see on every other z car out there
Domzs
Go for it . Would love to see it . How about mod the MSA Type 2 or 3 to have the same look ? .
Ty ty
I was thinking of moding the MSA type 2 that's already on my car but I don't really know how hard it would be to reshape it and make it look right I wanted to have the fog lights in the center I think if I lengthened it up it would work
LanceVance
This: http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/107307-mustang-gt-grille/ + This: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/LRS-8200U/2005-09-Mustang-Gt-Eleanor-Style-Center-Fog-Front-Grille-Kit = Done! Reshaping the existing components will be extremely difficult unless you are already very experienced and crafty with custom body work. The fact that you are asking alludes to the contrary... sq_creations
I too would love to see what you come up with.
ISPKI
If it is what you want to do, then do it. Making your car unique to your liking is never a bad idea but, you have to do it right. Plan out exactly what you need to do and what equipment you need to have before getting into it. If you do a crappy job on it, it will look like garbage, if you do a great job, everyone will be impressed by it.
