RB26powered74zcar
Too old, out of style? Or they might look pretty good? http://www.ebay.com/itm/251407309154?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
rturbo 930
I've seen those before, and I've always wanted to put them in a Z. IMO they're a perfect match for the interior.
stravi757
Those look awesome. I have thought of putting 944 seats in a Z for a long time. I think its one of the only seats that would look good in a Z over stock.
RB26powered74zcar
Look better than the Recaro's I now have?
OldAndyAndTheSea
Love em. I think they would look great in your car. It all depends if you want it to look a little more subtle. Or if you want to keep the paint matching red accents. Personally, I vote 944 seats.
JMortensen
The Recaros you have now are probably more supportive and lighter. Might want to get a weight on those 944 seats...
RB26powered74zcar
Problem with the current seats is I'm squished in them. When I put them in, I was 6' @ 160lbs. Now @ 215lbs, they are _un comfortable_
stravi757
Look better than the Recaro's I now have? I think so. I really dont care for pretty much any aftermarket seat. They look racy, Which I guess is kind of the point. I think the 944 seats sort of blend well with the rest of the of the interior. Most every other seats people throw in their Z usually dont IMO. (regardless of whether I think the seat itself looks good or not)

I doubt they're light. But I definitely think they'd look better than the Recaros in your Z. The 944 seats are shaped more like the Z seats than the Recaros are. ~KnuckleDuster~
I had 944 seats in my old Z. Fit very well, wouldn't recommend them for anyone hefty. They fit me snug and I'm 6'3" 190. They look like they belong in the Z...

cjack300zx
The 944 seats are powered seats so they will be a lot heavier than the recaro's you have but they do look good
~KnuckleDuster~
Nice pic! Those look different though... (wings) Thanks, yeah I'm not sure what year they came out of, I'm assuming older than the one you pictured. Mine were power but I never had them hooked up, they had the manual levers to use as well thankfully. The weight wasn't that bad at all, plus with an rb26dett you really don't need to worry about saving 20 pounds. Edit: I've always assumed they were 944 but they do look slightly different. If you find out mine were something different let me know. They're definitely Porsche at least. socorob
My friend had non power 944 seats in his bug and those things weighed a ton.
tecreatta
I was out at LKQ looking for a set for my car today since it was the holiday sale. I had no luck. Every other day of the year they are packed with junked 944s I think they look perfect in a Z.

socorob
I didn't weigh them but they felt about 50% heavier than the 2002 miata seats I had when picking them up back to back.

Leon
I agree with an above poster that it depends on the look you're going for. Personally, I'd ditch the cheesy two-tone and go for the 944 seats. They look like they'd fit in just right with the rest of your interior. We have some in the shop and they're comfy, at 6'2" 200lb.
PLATA
^^^^^ ''cheesy'' for some but OK for others , we all have different taste and like different flavors
