auxilary
Sure, it has a 390cid motor with 600hp, but it looks EMO! the whole car looks sad, and shelby looks like he has a stick up his butt

Guest 240hybrid
Looks to me that he redesigned the A/C Cobra with a modern look. Kind of like the new Thunderbird made love with the ole' Cobra and had modern day offspring . Chrysler is making it correct? I think it looks pretty slick, subtle hard lines with smooth curves. I like the way the wheel wells buldge out from the rest of the car like the original cobras also. I like to see a car in person before I make too bold of a statement. Cool to see that old man still plugging away at making performance cars, keep it up Shelby. Oh by the way, his chili mix/powder sucks ...stick to cars. BillZ260
I'd drive it for a month and trade it in on the new GT40, sell that, buy a new house and finish my z project.
johnc
After all the people that got screwed with his "Series 1" why would anyone trust this man? - John
SpeedRacer
I haven't made it down to the 2004 North American International Auto Show here in Detroit yet but it looks like this is a Ford project with Shelby's name on it. http://www.detnews.com/2004/autosinsider/0401/04/a01-25673.htm

SpeedRacer
Here's a little more info..... like it's got a V10 in it! http://media.ford.com/newsroom/feature_display.cfm?release=16649 Can't wait to see it this weekend!
Guest 240hybrid
Seeing more pics of it, and from different angles, I'm not enjoying it as much. The rear end and front go straight down too much. I'd still be interested in seeing it in person. Motor is pleasing to the eyes though. Chase
Synlubes
It`s not the "Cobra" we know and love, but it does have it`s own qualities. I`d love a dash like that in my Z.
Warren
The Learning Channel (TLC) just played an hour long show on it. It's NOT built by Carroll Shelby, but it does have his approval. It is a working concept car. The show will probably be on again in 2 hours. Pretty interesting the way EVERY piece of the car is hand made (so to speak) one-of's... And at 81 years of age, give the old fart a break.
z-REX
if you take it for what it is without comparing it to the original (imo one of the best car designs ever to honor pavement with it's presence) i think it's badass. but i'm used to being in the minority... akeizm
I'll have its engine for my z.
zguy95135
yea i saw that show too, i have a bit more respect for it. the car looks better from different angles, but the back looks too fat. its not bad but id hold out for the GT40
Moridin
I'd take the Ford GT over that any day.
Guest Aaron
When I am 80+ I hope to be doing dougnuts in a 600hp sports car like he was on the show.
PETEW
I like it. It's a serious sports car without any frills that the yuppy terds are looking for in thier ferrari's now adays. Give me a light powerful no frills car any day. I think this car would make a lot of the hi po cars nervous.
Drax240z
It's still over 3000lbs though... bleh. Personally I like the styling other than the front end. From side/top/rear is screams cobra to me.
Metro
I saw it on TLC too. When they were putting it together, I thought the front end was ugly as hell, but actually seeing the car in motion, it looks great. I don't like dash or steering wheel, too chunky or something.
