DaleMX
Sorry, that is not very impressive. Hell I could take the old 396 powerglide out and smoke better than that! I bet that car doesn't last a week with the way it's treated. Kids, what can you do with them.
Guest ON3GO
1st off its a older man not a kid. also its 500+hp is pretty badass and im sure if he wanted to burn out some more he could have. plus he just got the motor done which was stupid for what he did.... pfffttt Old men these days.. Mike kZ
Sorry, I'm with Dale, give me that V8 roar any day over a sewing machine sound But 500hp is impressive for a 4 banger.
Tim240z
Yeah...I'm with you guys....although very impressive for such a small engine, I would much rather hear the rumpety rump of a Detroit V8......

Owen
Not me! I perfer the buzzing sound over the dukes of hazzards. Yeah, I know my engines an SBC V8... Which is why I spent so much time and effort trying to quite the thing down! Owen
fl327
Thats what Im talking about, I definiitely like the sound of that sucker. He does need to improve his circle drift skills and steering angle control though, Ive got a homie close to me that can swang em much more furious than that with a dead hole having KA! Thanx for the vid though.
onephatz
don't get me wrong I think the v-8 rumble is cool but the there is something menacing about that high pitched whistle. it's like uh oh, what does this guy have up his sleeve. ya just don't know jesse
Mikelly
Neat ride... I could defenitely own a 240SX coup with an SR20DET in it! Mike
510six
I personally perfer the sound of my L30 stroker with open exhaust when the N20 hits. The motor sounds like it is Really pissed off.
80LS1T
Cant say I care for the sound that 4 banger is making but I can deffinetly appreciate the power its putting out! Guy PS I need some crappy tires so I can do burn outs like that!!
JustAFantaZ
I think some V8 guys wish there cars sounded like this!Ummm, no. In fact, I hate that sound and anything like it.
spdsk8r
If my car sounded like that, I'd have every ricer in town trying to run me. As it is, now, all I have to do is give the throttle one blip and they ALL back off and don't want anything to do with me.
wheelman
NO WAY! I much prefer the rumble of a well built V8 to the sound of that engine at RPM. I liked how it sounded when idling but spooled up it sounded like a hair-dryer not a high performance car. I have to say though that I don't like the sound of cherry-bombs or glass packs. Reminds me to much of the cars owned by the A$$holes in my high school when I was a kid many years ago. Wheelman
sims76
I don't mean to hijack this post, but I have a technical question... My Z sounded like that after the turbo swap but before I installed the BOV. I thought that shoosh shoosh shoosh sound after shifts was "compressor surging." Is that correct?
Owen
All I hear is the BOV after the shifts or when he lifts off the gas. Your car sounded like that before the BOV? Interesting... Owen
sims76
Owen, Here is the best I can describe in words: Before the BOV installation after a shift: shoosh shoosh shoosh shoosh shoosh After the BOV installation after a shift: psssssssssssst
dot
Not bad at all. I had the V8Z rumble for ten years. I quite enjoyed it. But there comes a time for a change and having build several V8 powered big & small block cars, I found that the repetition was becoming boring. Something completely different is a welcome change. But that is just personal experience.
