1 fast z
Here is some pics of the finished intake manifold that I built for SIDWELL. I hand delivered the intake 400 miles from my house, this last saturday night. Notice how much taper there is in the intake track. Goes from a 50mm opening tapered down to a 40mm. Notice no external welds, and everything is smoothed and polished Notice balence tube and reference line for a MAP signal Notice the cable throttle setup, and clean return spring design. DAW
I'm reluctant to even ask, but did you consider running the tubes for cylinders 1,2 & 5,6 upward and then downward (an "S" shape from the side view) so that their tract length was equal to the runners for cylinders 3,4? blueovalz
Where would you direct me to learn more about the individual throttle body application and source of parts? I've always thought this would be great for the V8, but never have had luck finding data on what is needed to build a system like this. 1 fast z
Takes about 35 hours or so for the trick looking shiny ones like that one. Yea, I have another design already for equal length runners then I will test ON A DYNO and 1/4 mi to see what differences it gives verses this style, I bet its UN NOTICABLE, but only dyno will tell right? Yea, Lots or work here, but I enjoy every minute of it

ihatejoefitz
that is definitely impressive, and i would definitely make those runners equal length, the .03 hp increase would put my car into the 10's! are those tb's powdercoated?
EZ-E
I havent really had good experiences with Top End not to mention, at least in my opinion, that the Owner is a bit of a childish indvidual. Before I would buy that off of him I would buy the intake manifold from Lonewolf first as I like they're piece, and I think it looks pretty good as well. http://www.lonewolfperformance.com/pictures/nissan.html
