RacerX
That's what he describes his car as. It looks more like Porsche 944 style flares. What do you guys think please? I can't load the photos so here's the link: http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showgallery.php?mcats=500&si=928+body&what=allfields&name=&when=0&whenterm=&condition=and Ernie/RacerX

Mikelly
Ernie, It's kinda hard to tell... I remember this one recently being on ebay... It looks more like 944 than 928. But it would probably look a lot different in the pics... Mike
Savage42
Is it just me, but if it had a red light that moved back & forth in the grille area, it might be a Japanese Knight Rider-mobile? ;^)
frank280zx
those are 944s if not ill eat my hat
jdizzy204
kinda looks like the bastard child of a mk3 toyota supra and a
Dragonfly
I'm with the majority here... 944 wanna be. I have at least one picture of a Z at home that someone tried to make look like a 911 when I get home I will see if I can dig up the pic and post it. JMortensen
I LOVE the 940Z kit. I think if I were to get on of John Washington's body kits that would be it. I'm not sure I like the fake pop up headlights on this one, but it does share enough similarities that I would think it might be a 940 kit with some custom front end work on it. Overall, it still gets a thumbs up from me.

Tony D
I bought my 73 from a P.O. who had 930 flares knocked off and then bonded to the car. They fit well on a 240. Nobody could tell me what the flares came from then one day I rolled up on a 930 on Harbor Blvd at the cross street of LaHabra Blvd, and we both sat there looking at each other... Two Turbos with big flares, and a Motor Officer with a radar gun just salivating at this prospect when the light turned green! LOL To fight the temptation was almost insurmountable.... Yeh, looks like 944 to me as well.

OlderThanMe
Dad's 944 turbo front end... motice on the below pic the distance from the top of the wheelwell to the fender crease and then look at the Z with the bodykit. The bodykit would have to be modified to have that small distance between the top of the wheelwell and the fender crease. It is quite possible though. Careless
i like it, but i don't love it i don't think it added to the lines of the z, i think it just got rid of them completely. which is cool, but not when it's sitting in the between either a 944 or a Z i dunno. still cool though! OlderThanMe
I agree that it is cool but you could have done a one-off bodykit that flows much better for the same cost. Plus you have to find a 944 than you can pull straight panels off of for a decent amount of money (not easy).

OlderThanMe
I don't like it just because it is soo darn hard to work on...I mean it is an 86.. A 70s 914-6 would be nice to fix up though..
