Mikelly
Been riding street bikes for 24 years, never been down and have been to many many track days... This particular bike will be a "daily" rider for me, since I drive low volume country roads. Previously I had ridden up the interstate for well over an hour to and from work... I gave up riding in those conditions due to the idiots on cell phones and putting on makeup and such... I expect to have much less concern riding in the new conditions. Bartman
Nice looking commuter! I've been riding street bikes for around 30 years and over that time I've driven over a couple hundred thousand miles. I'm currently riding a Honda ST1100 with over 140,000 miles on it alone. I take the interstate to work and I know what you mean about the idiots on the road, but I can't stand to waste my time sitting in traffic. I switched jobs about a year ago which cut my commute down to a 50 mile round trip, but for the five years before that it was 100 mile round trip. Traffic keeps getting worse and worse, so as long as I'm able I'll continue to commute on two wheels.

Mikelly
Eric, I gotta buy you a beer or six at some point! Of course, I bought the bike when it was 74 degrees... Now there's ice and snow a week later... Go figure... Did I mention I'm DYING to ride it??? Mike

Mikelly
Yea, and I need to get this one tuned and then back on the rollers, because it's got a stage two jett kit, the full header/can and the K&N air filters. I just installed a fork brace and some color matched riggs soft saddle bags I already had from my ZX9R days. I'm DYING to get out and ride this thing because it is just SUCH a nice looking bike and the ergonomics are SOOOO COMFY! The Sergent custom saddle, tall windscreen, new chain, sprockets, pipe/jetts/filter, tires and complete service are worth more than half the $3250!!! The torque really makes these bikes... I want a buddy of mine to get his carb sticks on it just to make sure it's running right, and then I just want to take off for a week and ride... My brother just bought a camping resort in Kentucky over the last 45 days, so I may have to head out there for a few days! Mike
