ZDrifter
Power=good looks=depressing v6=not impressed quad 3 inch exhaust=i like Heard they are going with a 7-speed paddle shift...Is it just me or does that just take the point away from driving a manual?? BayAreaZT
Around the track it's usefull since they shift in a fraction of the time of a manual and they rev match perfectly on downshifts. Good in LA traffic too Supposedly, the GTR was faster around laguna seca than the 911 turbo.
Datsun350Z
Supposedly, the GTR was faster around laguna seca than the 911 turbo. For a $70,000 nissan it better do something right... I still think nissan is a day late, a buck short on bringing the Skyline here. Maybe that's just sour grapes because it will take 10 years of depreciation for a used one to come down to my price range.
randy 77zt
looks like a g35-hey wait a minute-it probably is.
JMortensen
Looked pretty fast to me! I'm impressed with the speed, if not the looks or the price tag.
zero
The car is going pretty upmarket, so the pricetag seems pretty reasonable to me. If those times are correct, that would make it around as fast as what, vette z06, viper, 911 turbo, f430, gallardo(pushing it). Considering its competition 70k aint too bad. I like the idea of a turbo v6 more than a v8 because hopefully they overbuilt it like they did with the rb series. I know the standard vq isnt the most bulletproof thing in the world, but maybe they made some big changes to the block and internals that will trickle down to the other million models the vq is in. The looks are kinda funky I am not sure I like the whole hidden A and B pillar thing, but I think when this thing is parked out side I will like it. It's different and hopelessly aggressive, like it needs to be to compete with the cars its aiming at. just my .
cygnusx1
It looks heavy to me.
zero
possibly, but recent gt-r's have always been in the midd 3000's. The r34 was damn near 3700lbs.
Pete84
The rear end is kinda funky - hatchback! no! fastback! no! coupe! no! whatever the heck Nissan was smoking when they did that rear end! YES!!
Adam393
IMO i think the car is pretty ugly, I think they should hav just continued on with a facelift on the R34, not a whole new car. Just my $.
thehelix112
Watching a stock GTR is like watching fat people f*ck. Kinda interesting from an academic point of view, but would be much more entertaining after they get some liposuction, and coke. gogriz91
For $70K I hope there's less plastic in it than in my Pathfinder. I like my Pathy, but there's a lot of plastic in the interior pieces.
ihatejoefitz
Whats the point of the trying to mask the front and rear? That car has been on EVERY car magazine cover at least once in the last 2 years.
Brett6485
That thing was scooting and gripping! Price tag is not bad considering the class of cars they are shooting for.
