stony
Looks awesome. Your in the same boat as me when it comes to front wheels. No body makes a 3.5 inch wheel with the right offset so they tuck under the fender. I used really small diameter tires and sucked my control arms in as far as they would go. Now you just need to get some more low ;> Before small tires After small tires. Lowered to the race ride height Now i need to get me a set of bump steer spacers. ZT-R
Do you plan on putting subframe connectors in?
Ivan280zt
Do you plan on putting subframe connectors in? Not at this time maybe down the road if I see need for them. Stony, Man that much low sure does look good!!!
Ivan280zt
Well its been few months I guess its time for an update. Por-15 cleaning up party!!! I think that I spent about 5 hours washing inside of the car and getting it ready for Por-15. Cleaned out pretty good. Two coats of Por-15. Road trip!!! New home its small but its got A/C!!! Sound and heat insulation all done. Time to start wiring up engine. Made good size panel for engine electronics for good starting point. Panel sits right behind dash so you really cant see it with the dash in the place. Yeah I really dont feel like wiring all this up! LOL Now I need to order bunch of connectors for sensors and crap load of small things but things are looking up for sure.
SUNNY Z
DROOOOOOL. I love the Weld RT-S wheels. Probably my favorite drag wheel, ever. I will totally be copying you if I ever 5 lug my car.

RebekahsZ
Love it! The general lack of rust on your chassis is amazing. I had forgotten what a PITA cleaning my chassis was-thanks for bringing back a long supessed bad memory. Was the Jegs roll cage kit a worthwhile endeavor, or did you have to re-do all of it to the point that the kit was useless? You've probably already considered this, but your brake line routing looks a little problematic for future serviceing of he driveshaft, differential and lower control arms. Any chance you could go up and over the diff instead of underneath it? Looking forward to the exhaust system. Subscribed.

ComicArtist
I've been following this thread ever since 09, my junior year of high school and when I got my first S30, my '78. Gotta say, this thing is everything I expected! Great job, keep up the great work. I'm extremely jealous of your fabrication skills, I hope someday mine are somewhere near as good! Ivan280zt
Need updates for 2013... In the middle of buying house... Dash is done with display molded in and most of the "interior" is back in the car so I just need to get around to uploading those pictures. Turbo needs to be sent out and checked since its leaking good on the exhaust side. Turbo is new but it has been sitting for 5-6 years so I will send it with my feed and return lines that way everything can get checked out. That is about it for now. Snailed
The seals should still be fine even after six years. If you don't already have one, I would bet that a ~.080" restrictor would make the leaking stop. An unrestricted 1/4" feed line is way overkill for a turbo feed line. Ivan280zt
I figured since I am taking night off from working on the new house I might as well go and update this thread. All this stuff that I am posting today is from around November/December of the last year so yeah its been while... Here is bunch of the connectors, wire insulation, battery cutoff, haltech ecu bracket... Mounted electronics and started on the wiring Bunch of crap going back that got tucked and loomed so nice but I never took pic of it finished... Battery wiring Battery mounted and wired up just need to bolt in mega fuse Edited March 21, 2013 by Ivan280zt

Ivan280zt
Engine fully wired up and running also installed nice DEI turbo blanket that my buddy Joe from TDC Performance hooked me up with. I also removed BCS from the firewall because it looked like complete shit I will just end up putting it under intake manifold when time comes to hook it up. Got some new Mickey T's in 275/50-15 for the street I built this exhaust on my back with like less than 2.5 feet of ground clearance talk about suck... I will finish it once I get car on the lift then it will go all the way back and I will run magnaflow muffler with it Got it tig welded at TDC by Tampa Mike Muffler to go with it maybe I can get Chip Foose to came over and do some body work?!?
