wAnNaBVaN
Since a car can never be finished, this one is just almost done Have owned this car for over 8 years and still only has 92,xxx original miles! I have been on here for a long time but never really posted. Thought I would share the work before I post the car for sale. I will try to make this as informative as possible for those that will be going down this route I am running z31 front suspension with z32 calipers -z31 front spindles shocks rotors and custom lengthened lower arms Tokico shocks with ground control coilovers -tokico front z31 shocks with standard s130 rears with welded perches T3 front camber plates and front tension rods - cut the top with a 3"(i think) cup saw and fit pretty well Upgraded front sway bar and poly bushings stock motor with low miles Custom side mount sr hks intercooler with tial bov -Wanted to keep my a/c and everything so it was pretty hard to fit both pipes through to the front adjustable fpr msd fuel pump greddy pov running 9psi stock downpipe, stock cat with custom catback Wheels/tires rota 17x9 -13 fronts and 17x9.5 -19 rears 215/45/17 fronts and 235/45/17 rear<-- this was for my fronts that didn't fit so I used it in the rear - 17x9 -13 front wheel not fit this setup, i had to run i think 5mm to be able to clear the calipers -I did not want to run stretched tires but the z31 front setup made the offset much higher which i didn't account for before purchasing. Since my fronts were flush i had to run spacers in the rear to match the stance from this like 5 years ago to this in its current condition
bluezx
Great looking s130! I'm working on the same front Z31 suspension mods you listed and have a couple questions. 1) Did you have an issue with the length of the stock tie-rods with this set-up after lengthening the lower control arms? 2) How much did you lengthen the control arms to get the camber right? Thanks for any info you can share, Mark.
BluDestiny
Engine bay pics too please?
wagon jon
Looks good, but need more engine pics to satisfy the visual hp urge.
PurePontiacKid
also, which Z31 tubes did you use? the early ones ('84 '85) had a shorter control arm, whereas the late ones ('86-'89) had longer control arms (which means you would have had to have lengthened your control arms moreso than with the early ones)

chrismiller5157
Nice S130!! Love the color & wheels, reminds me of my old champagne S130(sold at 230,000 miles). Engine bay and interior shots would be nice to see. Also interesting air dam.....
zeeboost
Also interesting air dam..... It's just the MSA II kit front bumper with little holes cut out in the sides. I did the same to my '82...makes a pretty noticeable difference.
FricFrac
Missed this one as well. Slownrusty and I are both running the Rota's as well but 9.5" on all four corners with no clearance issues. I'm running 235/255 and Yasin who is much braver than I is running 255/275 an they look absolutely fantastic! Love the RB-R's on the S130s... haven't seen a wheel that fits as nice yet.... Looking forward to some engine bay pictures!
