  3. http://www.katu.com/news/local/8855457.html By Associated Press KIRKLAND, Wash. (AP) - The State Patrol said a Redmond man was paralyzed in a rear-end collision when a loose speaker in his car went flying and broke his neck. It happened Saturday when the 27-year-old Redmond man was stopped at a I-405 onramp in Kirkland. His 1973 Datsun 240-Z was rear-ended by a 1998 Ford F250 pickup truck. The impact threw the large stereo speaker into the driver's neck. He was in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with quadriplegic paralysis. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured. The State Patrol said speakers should be mounted with brackets that can withstand sudden stops and impacts.
  4. I noticed that to, he probably walked down to what's left and gave them a fix-it ticket.

  6. Looks like you got the hot/positive side covered, but where does the negative/ground side go to? can you make the negative connection for the fan at the battery?
  7. Hi Mark, PM sent, just Email me when your ready. Dave...
  8. The car or fuse box? Now, it would help if we all knew what year car. These are important details.
  9. AAA280z has finished with the loaner and its back if anyone is needing to borrow it. I had to raise the price to borrow it from $20 to $25 because of the postal rate increase a couple months ago and the bite PayPal is taking.
  10. Hi Adan, The puller is on its way, I will be back to the civilized world on July 11th. If you should have a problem just come back here and someone will help you out. __________________
  11. The ohms value is what changes as the coolant heats up. When I was fighting with mine last year I hooked it up to an ohm meter and used a digital thermometer. I recorded the following change in ohms as it heated up in a pan of water: 23 C/73.4 F = 400 ohms 25 C/77 F = 386 - 365 ohms 30 C/86 F = 302 - 290 ohms 35 C/95 F = 238 - 228 ohms 40 C/104 F = 190 - 183 ohms 45 C/113 F = 153 - 149 ohms 50 C/122 F = 123 - 118 ohms 55 C/131 F = 98 - 95 ohms 60 C/140 F = 84.1 - 80.3 ohms 65 C/149 F = 69.0 - 67.2 ohms 70 C/158 F = 56.5 - 56.0 ohms
  12. The new one or the old one? http://www.roadtripamerica.com/places/havasu.htm
  13. I suppose its OK to use all hand signals known to man, however there is one you should avoid
  14. I guess that is a little detail I left out. The 1" all thread is SAE not metric. Over time I found that the 12 X 1.25MM thread takes a beating so I now helicoil the end of the 1" all thread on the puller I make and sell. With out a helicoil the tool will do several spindle pins before it strips out.
  15. You don't need to weld one up, get a piece of 1" all thread 1 foot long a piece of 1" pipe 10" long a couple 1" washers and a 1" nut. All this can be had for about $15.00. Drill a 13/32 hole in the end of the all thead and tap it with a 12 X 1.25mm tap. Screw the 1" all thread on the spindle pin, slide the 1" pipe over the all thread followed by the two 1" washers and the 1" nut. Be sure to grease the all thread and the washers. This will work just fine if you are only doing one Z. The loaner program will also get one to you, the cost will be about $22 because of the postage rate increase. I also sell one on eBay for $114.99 that is welded and has a thrust bearing and a 12X 1.25mm helicoil in the end.
  16. Well done and worth the time it takes to load http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~yeli23/Flash/Fire.html
  17. The G3 is plastic and will not stand up to the pressure of the fuel pump in a injected Z. How ever it will work fine if its between the tank and fuel pump, but not between the pump and the engine.
  18. Hi Jay, Thanks for the update. I was not worried about the pullers, I figured they would show up when there were inquiries about the program.
  19. The puller program is alive and well. At the moment the 2 pullers are out and should have been sent back if they were done with them. When I get home tonight I will look up who has them and fire out a couple Emails.
  20. The battery is hooked up backwards, The picture shows the battery + going to ground and the battery - going to tha cars switch. The rest of the picture shows the wiring as correct.
  21. If you remove the . (period) from the img statement they will show up.
  22. Give this a shot. http://s170049317.onlinehome.us/V8-240z/Files/Datsun/Wiring-Diagrams/70-88 Z Wiring.htm Or there is some more here. http://s170049317.onlinehome.us/V8-240z/Files/Datsun/Wiring/
