    You can turn the idle adjustment screw to bring the idle back down to around 1k.

    I bought mine from Datsun Restore, what a waste of money. The only piece that fit was the rear hatch piece. I would say buy the rear hatch piece and pay a shop to do the front. I dont think it would be over 300 of 400 to put carpet in the front of a Z, atleast not around here.

    Brandon, that is not Erik Bernsteins car anymore, it was bought by Primmadona Z, also a member here. And I do not beleive that is a ford motor, pretty sure its a SBC. The distributor is in the back on the motor.

    cloudxps, i was looking at your site and was looking at the patch you put in your hot rods roof. Was there a sunroof there? How did you seal the top and make it watertight, thanks.

    Ding ding ding! Winner, I used dry ice before and it took about 2 hours to do the whole car. I wasn't able to get ahold of some for my new project car I am working on now. But, it was sitting in a non heated garage for a couple weeks in pretty cold temps, literally took 5 minutes to pull the tar out of the hatch area, I used my hand mostly, it pulled up in big sheets.
