  1. How about a diesel rabbit? Man the old diesel rabbit pickup we had was getting 52 mpg.
  2. This thread has some part numbers in it, not sure if you are looking for these, it might help: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=117283
  3. 290 for a diff that is running 800 plus on ebay? Sounds like a money maker to me. (if it was a clsd that is)
  4. I had a 91 Nissan truck. It was short cab, short bed, 4wd, 5 speed, 4 cyl. I loved that truck, tough as nails and could not get it stuck when I tried. Sadly it only got 17-18 mpg, mine was not that good on fuel, maybe something was wrong with mine? You might want to PM 240ztt, I beleive he has one.
  5. Hahahaha, what are the chances? That is so cool.
  6. +1 on cutting out the rear quarters and maybe de-skin the roof
  7. It something they do on Zcar.com i think?
  8. Zedevan, are those 3rd gen rx7 seats? I plan on installing those as well, how was the install? Nice car btw.
  9. I will have a shell come this summer if someone wants to buy it for $50 to cut it up to practice this technique, it would be perfect for this.
  10. Gosh I know dont get me started about Solar! My gf's solar panels produce more power than they actually use ( a household of 6 mind you) and actually send power back to the provider. By law the electricity provider sends them a check for the amount produced in excess, thats horrible! hehe, just messing with you Pop (still a true story^)
  11. Wow thats alot of money for a paint job, glad I am a DIYer now, lol.
  12. J, just ran a sewer line today actually. The old cast iron one busted so we opted to replace the whole thing. A total of 40 feet or so. Go rent a back hoe for $200 and do it yourself or maybe find a buddy to help. I think total cost for everything was $800 or so, its not too complicated if you use common sense. Roto rooter wanted $4000 to do it!
  13. I would like to see some dyno results and pressure readings to back this idea.
  14. Yea the one I had fit pretty well, just needed some sanding and trimming like the others said. Its pretty thick as well.
  15. Yea here at UNCC there are students from all over the country that come just for the motorsports program. I personally know students from New York, Alaska, Hawaii, and California that came here for the program. It also isn't to expensive, I beleive its 14k a year for out of state students. Heres a link: http://www.mees.uncc.edu/motorsprt/programs.htm
  16. UNC Charlotte has a motorsports engineering program that is funded very well, but errr its mostly Nascar.
  17. You might want to PM 240hoke. He knows of a good place that sales tons of rubber products through their catalogs.
  18. What city is that in? That looks very familiar to somewhere I was this summer cleaning tanks.
