  1. That may not be an SS Autochrome unit, but I think generally when people ask if its an "SS Autochrome" they are asking if it is a Chinese one, so I would say yes, that is a Chinese core just like mine and other members have.
  2. Full time student getting my BS in Geology, planning on going on and getting my masters in Geology/Hydrology. When not in school I work for my Dad's environmental service company doing: Drive yard dog and move tankers around the yard Shovel nasty sludge Confined space entry Clean large (50ft-300ft diameter) tanks at oil terminals Drive and operate 18 wheeler vac truck Wash out tankers Operate dozers, equipment Work on trucks, change tires, etc etc Basically that and some more random biatch work.
  3. Out of curiosity, because I have never asked the guy this happens to, why would a buisness owner have to pay $25-35k in taxes every quarter? I guess they make that much money?
  4. The walboro is noisy, I know mine is, but alot of guys use them on on Zs and I have never heard any other complaints, plus I have never seen a $150 boost gauge? I picked my 2 and 5/8s gauges up for around $50 brand new.
  5. You couldnt pay me to live in Florida!
  6. When will the posts about scams ever end??? hahahah jk!
  7. They do make battery powered ones, but they do not last very long. You can just get a plug in one.
  8. Ah sweet, they run $75 around here as well. I picked up my Romanian SKS for 145.
  9. That corvette must have been 1/3 throttle or something, stock vette is 345 hp.
  10. How much did you give for it? They are real cheap here.
  11. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=103512 Some are and some aren't. i dont think a 3.90 would be to low on a NA, probably just right.
  12. Austin, lol, when I told you about it you were the one who said you were afraid to weld on a roof. Fron searching the archives, seems like the members here who have it done paid between $250 to $500 to have a new skin welded on and all the body work on the roof completed and primed, doesnt seem to bad.
  13. Are you talking about with the current sun roof in?
  14. Sweet, make sure you tell them they will just be re skinning the roof, not cutting pillars or anything. I plan on cutting a skin off a parts car and having that welded in.
  15. I wonder how easy it is to get parts? Sounds like a stump puller at 500 hp 1000 ft/lbs
  16. Its right at 18,000 CCs, so yea it is an 18 liter!!!
  17. Ahhhh I see, not bad, I didnt know the l24 made that much less power than an L28
  18. Whats the project NA horsepower on your motor now?
  19. What size tires does it run in competition? PS - I will be coming to NMT this semester for a guided tour!
  20. OK guys, I have been plagued with one of the cheesy 70s pop up sunroofs in my new 76 project. Now its not that I dont like sunroofs, they are cool and what not. I went by an aftermarkey sunroof installer today and took a look at the sunroofs they installed and the prices. For a new version of the pop up type roof it is $499 installed out the door. For an electric spoiler type sunroof, similiar to iaconsultants here http://album.hybridz.org/showgallery.php?cat=679, it is $899 out the door. Now I am figuring, I could get a body shop to weld in a patch for less than 500 or near it. Does anyone know a shop in NC that would tackle such a project?
  21. I was getting ready to say, I have read alot of 510 guys just weld their rear diffs for Auto X and love it?
  22. You think sealing the back of the faux rivets with some silicone or JB weld would prevent this?
  23. Got any closer pics of that door panel treatment?
  24. I pull it with the big truck in the back, so I guess its alittle bigger than a full size dodge, hehe
