Cyrus, long shot here, were you or anyone at your company at the Pumper national show in Nashville last week? I bet I have 20 check valves on this one vac truck I drive, maybe you made some!
280z, like I said earlier, if it is local to me I can check it out and send you more pics. Dont worry, I dont want to buy it before you do, I already have 2!
Right out of the box I think a 87-89 z31 looks alot better. I have an 87 turbo that I daily drive and I like it alot. The supra is heavier than the z31 by a bit and the vg30et is pretty much bullet proof and has a good track record. Just change the timing belt and you should be good, plus the turbo motors respond well to mods.
Maybe this thread will help, http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=117779&highlight=seat+options+280z
I plan on using Gen 3 Rx7 seats because they are leather, nice, and allow the use of harnesses.
Theres an amp under the passenger seat in some models, the stock seats are heavy, atleast mine is because it has the lumbar support. You can toss the spare tire, jack, and the little stop things. Toss out the curise control stuff if you like.
I think width is the main thing, you can always make custom mounts to raise or lower the seats. If the shoulder bolsters are too wide, then you wont be able to close your door, its not like you can cut the seat in half and fix it.
I dont know if you can find any, but I was lucky enough to acquire several hundred old educational films. I am talking about the reels type, 16mm to be exact.I got all these films for free and most schools like to unload them as they are not used and are taking up space. I put the films on ebay in lots of 5-6 in the same subject roughly, and I profited well over 6k. I have not been able to find anymore.
Actually Fred it is stated its a 500 Caddy. The info on the video states:
"This is my 78 Deville that's run a best of 10.34 @ 127 with a 500 inch Caddy motor, no power adder, dual plane Edelbrock intake, T400 trans and a 3.70 gear. Its got a full factory interior with the exception of the two Kirkey racing seats & 6point rollbar. Still have the power door locks & windows. Need a better camera man! lol ... (
