  1. Maybe he thought it was a Viper? lol
  2. Thank you cygnusx1. I was considering getting covers, but didn't because I was not going to drill holes in my buckets. This is an excellent solution!
  3. I have an N36 intake minus the balance tube I'll sell you.
  4. TBI as in carb looking, with injectors? I'm not sure what the '91 came with. If so, PM me.
  5. All hail the 260Z! lol I don't think they were all stock though...
  6. I didn't see what year you had, but this may help. http://autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?ForwardPage=/az/cds/en_us/0900823d/80/1d/1b/4f/0900823d801d1b4f.jsp
  7. From the same site: http://a1racing.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=474 Your pic looked to be a standard tie rod end.
  8. The core is rotated, after loosening the bolt, and then a special wrench is used to turn the eccentric center. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/PSDC07A From that link: "Note: Your mechanic may not have the camber wrench to adjust this kit! See below for the proper wrench."
  9. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=8709&cat=500&ppuser=7958 Thats my opinion. Edit:John beat me to it.
  10. Not much to do out side with it being so HOT! I need to mow my yard. I think I'm going to mow it in acouple hours while it's some what cool in the 90's. It's 1 a.m. right now!
  11. While my arm isn't nearly as impressive as Corzette's, I'm working on it: http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=8852&cat=500 Some may realize that this is the icon of the "Getting your Z" article of SportZ and it is. Yes, I have permission with Ed..I got this acouple/few years ago. I was hoping to have my Z finished and be in an article of SportZ before it went in the wind....Not to say that is the reason why I got the tat!
  12. I want one of those resistors!!! Thats what I've been looking for lately, without looking. Then I can finish my wiring! Phil, this is what I was discussing with you about the resistors. Thats why I haven't finished my install. With the resistors you have you should have no problem upgrading the wiring. I've got wire and more time then money. Get with me...You supply the beer this time. LOL Steve, you explained it better then I could. I don't know you personally, but have always enjoyed your posts and knowledge of Zcars. Your a good contributor to HybridZ among other Z related web sites. kudos Bill, sent you a PM.
  13. Bill, In this pic it appears he offset drilled the holes to get them in the housing. http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=3214083 When I did the Altima fan I clocked the fan and offset it to get the holes in the housing. If the fan bearings/bushings start going out in mine I'm sure I'll hear it. Phil, if you can score another fan for $10 snatch it for me. I'll buy you acouple beers for your effort. The yards around me are high dollar. $75 for a Taurus fan, come on. I'm about to finally get my a/c fixed in my daily driver '77(or buy a vehicle with a/c!) and I want to do this mod on it aswell. PS: You stated that you hooked this fan up to the original wiring and resistor and it worked. Did you upgrade any of the wiring? Have you noticed the original wiring getting hot?
  14. Sounds like my next planned move. When can I see pics. I want to know what I'm missing.
  15. Cody, when did you move to Forney?

  17. I say the same thing with the color I have. Car looks great. Can't wait to see more!
  18. If you have dial up DO NOT try to supersize! Well, it's been alittle while since an update. After my tranny I.D. post didn't get an answer I just said screw it and I'll put it in and see what happens. As for the engine, it's mostly together excluding some parts that are polished that I can't decide if I want clear powdercoated. I think I should but this is turning into a money pit and I'm in the pit and all the money is Gone! Couple pics from my album (Valve cover is just temporary): http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=8781&cat=500 http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=8713&cat=500 http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=8712&cat=500 My mess of a garage: http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=8782&cat=500 Once I figure out how to make the momentary switch work with this antenna I'll be able to install the left tail light and be done with all lights. Then I have the door panels left to make to match the seats and find someone that has the right headliner spray to keep it up. I've tried the 3M stuff (among others) following their instructions to a tee and using my own methods, being I use adhesives at work that are similiar and it will stay for awhile(longer with my method) and then I'll get in one day and drag my head on the liner. On a side note, if anyone knows where to get another one of these rims, let me know!! I want a 5th before I get them powdercoated. 4 lug is what I need though. Pic is just better for reference. Western Wheels 14x6 (I think, I'll edit after I get home): http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=8783&cat=500 Thats it for now. Maybe in another few years I'll have the motor actually IN the car instead of beside it.
  19. An option for modern evaporators is to have one made. I looked for several months for a reasonable priced replacement evaporator for my early '74 with no luck. I finally took my original to an a/c supply house and had them send it somewhere to get it duplicated. Cost $100 cheaper then buying an existing new one from Black Dragon, MSA or Ebay(which was the wrong one). Having them use the shape and size, but using more modern evaporator core is what I did. I have yet to run the system, but have tested the upgraded fan which brings me to this... The hard part about getting cold a/c in our beloved Z's has been air flow. With the best a/c system money can buy thrown into our air box using our fans will not get you the results you are looking for. I used an Altima fan as a replacement. Alittle trimming of the opening and a hole for the cooling tube(yes, you read that right) and just hooking the fan up to the battery with no resistors I got my hair combed back! I highly suggest you get the resistors from the Altima while you grab the fan, if you go this route. I didn't and now I'm looking for one.
