Hmmm, I don't recall having to cut studs, as it didn't matter, but Mike... yes flip what ever size zx booster and use what ever size master you can get your hands on(preferable with Toy calipers, 15/16). Without the clutch master in the way all boosters from 70-83 will fit and all masters are interchangable. If you want, PM me. I know I promised pics, but I do have time tomorrow. I'll take what ever pics you need of a zx booster installed in a early '74 and I have a '77 and a '79(2+2) in the driveway for reference pics. I did have a '81(2+2) parts car, but had to give it away.. minus the 20 minute engine/tranny pull, ofcourse. JUST DO IT!

It's been afew years since I replaced the booster in my early '74 but I recall having to flip the zx booster over for it to work because of the offset of the push rod. I recall needing to use the zx vacuum line or having to cut the existing one though, but don't quote me on that. Other then that it was a bolt on afair. I have heard that using the larger zx 2+2 booster causing problems with the clutch master cylinder though. This ofcourse being hearsay I'll have to take some pics this afternoon. It's one of very few things bolted back in the engine bay.

My early '74 260Z only had one speaker on the drivers side rear quarter panel, behind the strut tower. My early '77 280Z has 2 speakers. One on each side just below the quarter windows. The "dog leg" interior panel covers half of the speaker while the quarter window panel covers the other half. Both being perferated.

I know on my '74 260Z the hood emblem was NOT held on by 2 sided tape. Nor were the side emblems, c pillar emblems or hatch emblems. There are two "pins" in the back of the emblem going through the hood. Two on the c pillars and I think three on the side and rear emblems. These pins have metal clips on them that kinda work like a butterfly bolt. They are perferated into a cone shape and once pushed in the holes they are the only thing holding the emblems on except maybe some 30 year old wax, dirt and grime.

Where the weight of a vehicle is can have a big impact on how the vehicle corners and accelerates. Center of gravity and polar moment will also contribute heavily on cornering. 20 lbs above center of gravity compared to same vehicle without it can make a difference in cornering G's.

THAT still sounds like fusible links or ignition switch. Thanks. My project has been stalled since just before the convention. I just ran out of money trying to get it finished FOR the convention. Go figure... I'll be posting another update soon, hopefully.

I did this same thing with my early 260 and removed the stock module. I also didn't need the tach adaptor.

No Problem. I'm realizing more and more that CRS increases with age. I never could really remember names, but was always good with numbers.
