  1. Thought some of you might enjoy this:
  2. Tell them that you are going tomorrow to get a rental car and they will be paying for it. If they do not comply, tell them that you will filling a lawsuit for lost wages, because you have no means of getting to work. I just dealt with this sort of thing. If the person you are talking to is not helpful, ask to talk to their supervisor. Keep going up the chain until you find someone is willing to work with you quickly and efficiently.
  3. Simply explain to the insurance that if they don't authorize a rental that you will be making sure to get money for lost wages. You can't get to work, can you?
  4. They are also 600 pounds lighter. It will only be a little bit longer before GrandAm "changes" a few things.
  5. One of the guys I know has the Eurospec with the 2.5l motor. Its one of his favorite cars ever.
  6. Anyone going or planning on watching the 12 hour race on TV?
  7. My dad had an owl go through his truck's windshield at 60MPH. Went straight through and right onto the passenger's side of the bench seat. Definitely makes a mess...at least my dad's interior was red to begin with
  8. I'm 5 miles or so from the epicenter. Was in the car and didn't feel a thing. Apparently, my family said there was quite a bit of movement at home...more so than a 4.2 normally feels like.
  9. Some taken with Nikon D200 and others with a little pocket Konica Minolta.
  10. Sweet. Thanks for the link. I'm going to get to ordering some 5" 304 for my friends '06 Dodge Cummins exhaust. Should be much cheaper than a $1000 Magnaflow system.
  11. Actually, there was an article recently in Sport Compact Car that had a lab do some testing of various octane boosters. NOS worked exceptionally well if I recall. I have also seen various independent lab reports that Torco works as claimed.
  12. Its a modern reincarnation of the fabled Ferrari 250 GTO.
  13. There was a guy driving a IRL or Champ Car on the main street less than a block away from my house. Didn't know they could be street legal.
  14. Just wait for the burns to turn into skin cancer and you won't have worry anymore.
  15. Ah, the famed Porter Cable. I've used mine to detail cars and sand on some of my wood building project. Great little machine that just keeps on going. Three years and counting on mine.
  16. Sorry, I forgot to reply to you earlier. Thanks for the kind comments. I'm hoping the same thing as well. I love sharing new technology and engineering with HybridZ. The more I do this, the more I can tell everyone here about it.
  17. In a few years. The new Peugeot diesel will be a closed cockpit. I believe this might be in response to the freak deer collision with Cristiano De Matta and a few other incidents as well.
  18. Audi and a few others will be at the Sebring race as far as I know.
  19. My only advice I can give is to get quality tools you can afford. Yes, Snap-On stuff is somewhat nicer than Craftsman, but not for the money. I would only buy Snap-On if I was going to be working somewhere where a Snap-On truck would be coming by on at least a weekly basis. The same goes for Matco, MAC, etc... If not, I would get a majority of S&K and Craftsman. The other one to look at for hand tools is Husky. They have some very nice ratchets.
  20. July 6th and 7th. Let me know if you're going.
  21. Let me know if you see the new 997 Lizard car. I have yet to see it in person.
  22. PM me if you plan on stopping by. I'll see if I can talk to our crew chief about showing you guys around. He's had quite a few Z's.
