  1. They have good products but the prices are a bit steep.
  2. Just busted my damn windshield trying to remove it yesterday. Are they available trough windshield shops or must I find a used one????
  3. Will it make a discernable difference in comfort if I patch them?
  4. I saw that in Road&track a while back, I'd never tought I'd see one for sale. I'm suprised that he does'nt need fenders. The one that I saw had some fenders bolted to the knuckles and had the tire's tread desing stamped on them. The cars were made by a company for sale as street cars.
  5. A pig winder "whatever that is" someone just sold me the punch LOL.
  6. I think it has allready been posted.
  7. Don't worry, I'm asking cause I'm a french speaking Canadian and I just want to perfect my spelling so you guys can understand what I say. Thanks and anybody else who see's orthograph or grammar errors feel free to point it out. I'll apreciate it. Just don't expect me to learn them all the first time but, I have my little dictionary with me and doing the best I can.
  8. Here's an idea I read a while ago. I think it was in sportcompactcar "before it became a crappy primedia sh*t rag" They used expanding foam sealer in the rocker panels to stiffen the chassis. I know I can get this stuff in different densities at hardware stores. The question is, could I use this to inject into the hollow members of the shell like, rockers, A,B-pillars and the rim of the roof to stiffen the chassis (for street use) around the passenger compartement instead of having tubes around. I'd still use a dash bar, main hoop, fr. & re. strut connectors but, no links between main hoop and the front part. Thanks. P.S.: I know many people have told me that "You know what happen if water gets there. Keep moisture... but, does'nt the foam forms a slick seald layer on it's surface when it's dry? Plus the car would sit in a garage and rarely see the rain.
  9. Oups you are right, I just checked to fast and took the uni-joint for the driveshaft:oops: now that I look at it carefully, I feel kind'a stupid.
  10. Pneumatic tires hun? I tought of that but, was wondering if anyone makes pneumatic swivel casters? As for the sodablasting, I will blast it before but, I tought of putting it on the rotisserie to blast the bottom of the car instead of lying underneath and choke on backing soda. P.S.: those two words that I underlined, are they spelled correctly?
  11. Was going to say the same + some clutch discs have very little offset to one side, if you put the disc upside down, it could prvent it from making complete contact with the flywheel. Most of clutches though, are very evident as for the offset and if you put it upside down things will just not work and in one particular case, (susuki sidekick) I finished the job started by someone else, the guy had put the disk the wrong way and when I stepped on the clutch the first time, the damn fork just popped out of it's socket and I had to do it all over again.
  12. One thing that's good to know though, some of those little welders can be upgraded to use gas with an optional kit so you can try to take a look into it. As ronijiro said it'll work but, you'll have alot of grinding and body filling to do afterward cause, it does'nt make clean welds on thin sheet. Flux core is designed to weld really thick metal where you have to build lots of heat to melt it. The flux produces gases as it burns that serves the same purposes as the gas in a mig but, on top of things, it forms a crust over the weld to protect it from oxydisation while it cools down.
  13. First thing, it would be nice to know where they came from. Is it a set cobbled together or it really is a set of 6? Maybe it could be coming from an 1 injector motorbike but the guy took 6 and made a set out of it.
  14. I have a thing for those little soap boxes. Check in the third pic. the crosshair head lights, I always tought it could look good on a Z. These pics. were taken from this site:http://www.matey-matey.com/mkl.shtml
  15. Never seen sutch a thing but, never seen injectors with 2 barbs either so, I guess it could be a possibility, that would mean the injectors include a small press. regulator but, never heard of anything like that.
  16. Not for old an rusty metal either, I redid the frame on my friend's Protégé 4X4 and lord did I hate it. You'd be better off with a small oxyacetylen rig.
  17. Just check in each forum related to what you're looking for, and just read a few treads, I'm sure there's going to be many brand names statements in there. Some treads are even dedicated to ONE product so it's the best place to gather many opinions in one spot.
  18. One more thing before i go to bed. If you do not have power coming to the coil, put the ign. on and check if you have current at + side of the points. If not, follow the circuit and test at each connections untill you find juice. The problem lies between where you have 12V. and the last connection you checked. Hope this helps.
