  1. Well, THANK YOU VERY MUTCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does that air craft stripper remove undercoating also? Have you guys ever heard about some kinde of baking soda crystals type of blasting media? Is it any good?
  2. Man!!!!!!!!!! shop around a bit, when I got those RB30 shipped from Australia to Canada, it was something like 350 Aussi $ for 4 blocks on a pallet.
  3. We Neeeeeeeed Mooooore Pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Wow, (the last one in the bimmer) what an IDIOTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You might whant to risk your car but, don't risk anyone else's. As* Hole. Impressive but, STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Try the stuff they sell at autoparts to clean hands. Dish soap works great too when it's only dust.
  6. It helps quite a lot. So, chemical stripping & orbital sander it'll be for the shell. You have any product names you'd recomend? For sanders, I heard good coments on the Harbor Freight & Porter Cable units, wich one do you guys use? Am I better off with air or electric?
  7. OTM: your two tone is very nice and daring,:icon14: maybe a thin white stripe at the "red black" junction would complement the job nicely, my 0.02. Anyone knows what color I should mix to get something colse to Laguna secca blue????
  8. Thanks Tony, I was editing my post when you posted but, the question above also aplies to you if you have tips about that too. It's nice to allways find what you look for on this site.:icon14:
  9. :icon14:Cool! I have a friend who knows a farmer (same farmer who gave us an allmost mint 49 roadmaster we found in the back of one of his fields.) who have heavyduty sandblasting equipement to clean his farm machinery. He's kinde enough to let me blast the car at his place FOR FREE!!!!!! RacerX! What medium would you recommend, I'd go with wallnut shell as I'm going to be doing this outside and I'm environementally aware so, I whant something biodegradable. I think glass beads would'nt be to harmfull either in a huge gravel driveway.
  10. I knew that'd look good, thanks Eric for that nice rendering.
  11. Has anyone tried to mix pigments from rustoleum to get the desired color????
  12. Hi, I live in Montreal, where Osaka is located, I shopped around when I bought my RB25 and although Osaka has good prices, there product is crap. When you see there products on let's say e-bay, take a good look and you'll see that it's always the same pic. for a given engine and this is probably the best one they ever had and they kept the picture to reel in some, too far away to complain, fishes.
  13. Here is a quick question, I'm about to sandblast the shell in the next few days and I was wondering what pressure you guys in the know would recommend for the exterior body panels? Tey are all incredibly straight and I don't whant to mess 'em up doing something wrong. Thanks.
  14. This engine is quite heavy.
  15. Looks pretty ratty for 5000 +
  16. I was also wondering how mutch a wood based dash like AGUYANDAREDHEAD is building would weight compared to a OEM dash? And how mutch you'd expect your's to weight?
  17. Well, if you do decide to go for suede, it's the best anti-glare you can get plus, it gives a nice touche (I'm not sure how to spell that word) to the interior, that or alcantara wich is fake suede. Then again, don't know if alcantara is cheaper than suede.:icon14:
  18. 15K LOL, it's more like double that figure and that is at my COST.
  19. I allways wondered how they connect the two engines together. Do they each have a tranny? Is there two diffs, with one driving each wheel?
  20. Not sure about Noble. http://www.kerridges.co.uk/noble_index.asp
  21. Ok, it's my memory who's failing me. The Tommy Kaira car you show here is what I remembered as being the Zonda from GTurismo. I don't see these cars every day so it's easy to mix 'em up. By the way, the color on the first Zonda you posted is awesome, looks like a Laguna blue from the M3 but even better. Maybe it is Laguna blue but, the photographer seems to have used a blue filter for the pic.
  22. At first I would have said Saleen but, now it's been mentioned, it does look like the Paggani Zonda.
