  1. Drive the 81. Ms the 78. You've done some good work on the cars you've aquired. Im certian you can do a ms. You need to get over that hump anyhow. Just be a peace with the idea you won't be able to drive your (very nice, chick magnet) for a while.. You more then likely will not blow the 78 as you learn. Then transfer computer over to 81 and push it!!! This way when you transfer the turbo system into the 78 thier will be a lesser chance of "poof"! I believe you tony on the engines. Just to cement it further, you can not even buy bearings as good as what was put in the car originlly?
  2. Even if the thier are 3 coil packs, since they are firing on a ext/comp stroke then you would have all cyl fireing all the time? Maybe Im being dense. Anyhoo, possible emf from a wire on the two center holes. Feild becomes too great? Spark plug that has become to resistive? (causing bleed to ground)
  3. Dose not edis fire all cylinders everytime? Hence the wasted spark? Ive read much on edis and if somehow I missed something, I might as well learn it now.

  5. Intake cooler, less expansion. Be careful, You make them to tight just to get rid of chatter you may find yourself in a world of hurt.

  7. Guess here. Belt may be slipping. When voltage becomes high enough it over comes corrosion on those circuits.

Their are answers to specific questions. Without specifics it would be like peeing into the wind. You are closer to answers then us because it is YOUR car. We don't know what the privious owner did, heck you don't. We also understand fragile egos of the youth today. Your mention of "discrimination" underscores this point. You may not understand this because it is a protective element to your "self", so if you acknowledged it, you could become frightened. Your questions are all over. Your specifics are questionable even by you. You think their is a magic wand like you've seen in school, nope. It is real life on hybridz. If you are not up to it, go somewhere where you know more then them and self inflate.

  15. Can't remember if that car had the oil pressure/ ignition cut, sensor/solenoid.
  16. Megasquirt and wasted spark. The 60mm will do nothing. Search these things and let us know what you think.
  17. The wiring for the distributor has an extra wire, or the ignition modual?

  19. Sorry should have read more carefully. Without vibration in the shifter, I jumped to the most outer components.
  20. I'm going to hit a KISS, moment. Tires and/or balancing of wheels. Possibly check tire aliment. Problems of that nature in the rear can seem quite different then the front.
