  1. Kinda has a "go speedracer go", flair to it.
  2. Plastic end cap radiators seem to be good for about 80 to 100k, at least in my experiece. Just make sure you run phospate free coolent. With any aluminum rad, you should.
  3. Sounds to me like you have some kind of crack or break or loose connection on suction side. This of couse would allow air to be sucked up as well as fuel. How full is the tank?
  4. Mine never has gone on, even with it disconnected. I would have to read up on that which has been posted about the FSM. Why another? Great to see you get a ZX!!
  5. At this point I would just go with a coating like ceramic. Well proven, oh, also get it professionally done.
  6. Odd and tough to say, could just be a bad gauge. If pressure drops to much the oil pressure kill will stop the engine.
  7. Couple things, the medium used to blast can leave a residue that can cause damage to engines. Also, (guessing), I would think that a roughen combustion chamber could be more prone to detonation.....

  9. If you are going to get a custom cam, convert the head to solid, in my opinion. Derek is right, might want to do some reading.
  10. The hydraulic head's cam is designed for those lifters. If you go solid, make sure you use the cam rocker arms and lash pads, in order they were in on the other head. You can always give the hydralics a shot, if you don't like it, go solid later. Search timeserts.
  11. You will want to use the seach engine here a bit, your question is somewhat broad.

  13. Possible that you pulled the cable in the sleeve too far in one direction? Did the cable have a notch to match the notch on the tranny side? Did the speedo work be for?
  14. Ya know, I had something similar, mine was the tps. Pull the cover and moved the contact back so as soon as I came off idel that switch would open. Not saying this is it, but you might want to give it a shot if problem continues.
  15. Me need to try that! Both my zx's where and are off by 5 plus mph. I will have to check the manual on how to get it off. Tried once w/o the manual and could not figure it out.
  16. Yep, direct swap, just did it my self. Make sure it is a 2plus2 or turbo flywheel. Specify that when getting the clutch and pressure plate. N/a 225mm turbo/2plus2 240mm Dose not seem like much, but when you compare it is big. It is measured by diamater. BTW, I had mine lighten, gives things a little more Zing!

  19. I got myself a little welder burn, this is the only thing I'm opening one eye for. I did not think you all would add more, funny stuff. I have deep respect for great women, however, we are different;)
  20. Same flywheel, 2pl2 and turbo. Also same clutch. Its a beck arnly. Not so cheap 189, I've had too many failures in the past with there "house" brands. Fit prefect and is running great at this time.
