Ya know I may just do this as a WTF idea. I've been following this thread (and the one year or so ago) and it just seems like it won't hurt too much on a high compression engine that I want to do.

10 yrs, or so ago, did not Mercedes develop a legal push rod engine for there cars that was whooping competition? Even though it was legal they ended up outlawing it. Had something to do with the fact you could run lager displacement, due to the inferior design of the push rod engine that they over came??

I may be off base here a bit, or just wrong tranny. Don't you have to trim that dust shield some for the drive shaft? Come on, you look bigger than me and I heaved mine back into place after doing my clutch/flywheel, couple months ago.....in my driveway;)!! Your z31 looks like it would be heavier.

I second that! I just leave my off. Clean it once in a while, and when needed ajust it. Very simple device.

Not uncommon for them to run out of air around 5500, unless you are talking about reving at standstill. Congrats on breathing life back into her!

Dude the 80's ROCKED! As for the jail time, me went there once, not pleasent. Seving on a sub, did not seem all that different...... Might have involved beer and a truck........NEVER AGAIN!! OK I'll give what I can remember. I just fixed mine a month or so ago. The problem for mine was in the switch on the tree. I could shine a light into wiper mechinsm (through the side) and see the contact. With some small tools I was able to bend the contact untill I got activation. It seemed to me farting around with it (no manuel in hand) the pump activation starts the the wipers, that then some how kills the pump. This seqence continues untill you let off the switch. Hope this can help some;)

That is the thing about the "net". Being a head guy for my cable system, (no longer), the amount of data that can be had, seen at source level is uncanny. Not much can be done to over come us. Then we were all forced to give the feds access to the info. YOU can not hide! I had the ability to slow traffic to particular sites for an individual, if needed, or cut them off. Never did, but I could. If an admin was in my area I could slow his connection to HybridZ to a crawl, yet nothing else would be wrong. Data log the sites visited and so on. And this was a small cable system, the big ones WOW! They can prioritize packets that come from you, i.e. phone service.

The main thing that will make it feel less like a riding LaZBoy is a spring and strut upgrade. If it is a street car and you're just looking for a firmer ride, start there. Very true. I did this on my zx's rear and what a difference. The stock stuff should mabe be on a metro.

ZX dose not have an interlock. I'd do both. The slave is very simple, two bolts hold it to the trans, and the hydrolic line.

How loose is the chain??

We did some measureing, and I did seem like it would fit. Price, well this is not the area for that, however, this summer we hope to drop one into my zx (just for fittment), then mabe post it up in sellers forum. That car is a drag car, so after the show, dyno sessions and track!

There is a really good thread somewhere about the oil and the lack of additives. There are some opinions on what to use, but, no one disagrees out how good Royal purple is!

One really nice thing about the zx's, they cruise very nice! Very nice find! Small mods would not hurt, lighten fly wheel, oem clutch (maybe turbo flywheel and clutch). Open up exhaust, AND better (stiffer, not to stiff) springs in the rear! No upgrades that can cause the "fiddle" effect;)_

Will the vaccume advance need to be disconnected, I assume?
