  1. Don't give up on that beauty! Given some love a care you'll get there. Think of it as a twenty year tune up:)
  2. This is something I did not know, fantastic find and write up!!!!!!!!
  3. Have you read the efi bible? This might be very usefull for you right now. Around 3800-4k you are in wot condition. My zx/na leaps into action at that rpm because my tune down low is off. (stock stuff) A wide band would sure be handy right now;)
  4. 10,000 into the american dream was donated today.
  5. Keep us posted on the tranny and diff plugs, heehee.
  6. Remove fan, problem solved;) Really if you have not had problem with vapor lock, just leave it discoed. This is covered in several threads.
  7. Heard on the news things should be better in about a week.
  8. I agree with Jmortensen. Buy low. Well in the next couple of days it may see the lowest of all time. My belief is that it is an oppertunity to invest. Think of it this way, with carefull investing, you stand to make considerable returns on the banking sector and housing or the US finacial sector will colapse as well as the rest of the worlds. I'm betting on the U.S.A to pull through. My investmest is an optamistic one, if I'm wrong, pray. Side note, if idiots run the banks, were finished!! DONT be a fool!! Your money is safe upto 100,000 fdic. Even if it fails. You run the banks, YOU will be responsible as well. It will be a rough couple of days, hang tight.
  9. Talked with Warren day or so ago, said its the pits.
  10. Is that the pic of your zxt in your sig?
  11. Getting the gator belts will quite up the belt system alot. Also converting to electric fan will quite things up more and make it sound better. I always told my brother, new car, new fuilds. Radiator fuild, break fuild, tranny fuild, power stearing fuild, rear end fuild. Replace with the finest avalible, won't have to do that again for a long time after that.
  12. The idea is that you paid income tax when you earned the money. BTW SERIOUSLY you might consider re-investing 5-7k in a bit. Like a month or so just before the election. The time for investing is soo fat, if done reasonable the ls1 can wait for a while, besides it will take time to build that, so in the mean time let your money work for you. GEt a great investment broker that will divesify the money.
  13. Not quite sure what your getting at there mate? Your max load is all things running at once. Or are you saying your largest load (I.E. the largest single piece of equipment)? If so, it can be as large as it wants, as long as its not larger than the breaker (because then it will trip out on overload all the time). I'll reconfirm or correct after making inquires, thanks.
  14. I'm holding out. Got a chunk and a date to engage the market. Buy low sell high. This is the lowest not seen for a generation or so.
  15. Only if you figure in just recent. This is why I choose to look at it over all its time. Only way to be fair. Cap gains right now is like 15%. Not 35%.
  16. ^^^Yep. If I have a million even a 6% you can soooo retire. Just have to work through the frist year to acrue that intrest so you don't tap principle. Most of the USA's history reflects makeing 6% well deversified is dumb easy, just don't get greedy and put some of the intrest away for the bad year.
  17. Also, you will need to upgrade your 3Phase supply (100A) to be larger than your largest single phase load I believe the wire needs to be 80% of total load capable. Basically your max load can not exceed 80% of all things running at one time. This will help heat at bay and you will not get so much expansion and contraction. You will save a bit on power consumption due to less resistive wire. Also you electrical gear will last much, much longer. I personally under size my breakers in my house, 15amp on 20amp capable circuits, 12awg wire, six or so outlets. Personally I would be butt puckering if I was burning a phase. Having to tighten those lugs is a waring sign, not routine maintenance. This truly is a safety concern.
  18. Also get a volt ohm meter if you don't have one already.
  19. Depends on application. What are going to be your fuel requirements now and in the future?

Grumpy has been posting fabulous information he has gathered over time to add to a great knowlage base here at HybridZ, the admins have given more respect and knowlage than almost any member, hence admin status. This is not the frist time my poor sense of humor has fail me. Now please, respectfully remove that quote. Thankyou.
