I know Grumpy knows far more then myself, however, I'm still running my same exhaust from my 82 that I put on my 83. 2.5in aluminumized pipe. Going on like ten years. When transfered a couple a couple of years ago the exterior and interior were in fantastic condition. I will say that there is no cat. Also I will note that the muffler is ss. One more point, these cars seem to have VERY hot exhaust systems. Don't touch my tail pipe even after a short run. With that said Grumpys advice is solid. If my whole system was ss, ummm it would outlast the car! I like doing things "forever". Hate doing crap twice.

Might be wise not to assume that the turbo balancer is fine, unless it was off an engine you know. Once I had a problem with mine and I was farting with something and my brother was under the hood watching and was like whoaaaa. Harmonic balancer had become loose.

Outstanding amount of work, for real. I just, welll .... can you give the thing some HybridZ? Truely not stepping on toes, and no I can not do that stuff, but, but... Mabe I've seen too many of some of the fellows car here that ,,,,crap letting it go.

I foget who throw the bee hive into those fellows car, I would assume he would have wished it would have been a grizzly. (ya know just to keep it a fair fight;) )

Understood completely. I will say this, the turbo charger uses the stuff that would be normally waisted. This by far the best design I've seen to capture as much of the energy from one timing event produced from combustibles.

What rpm's you hitting when you put it into 3rd? (and speed) Looks like you crawled out of the hole before you got tracktion. Did you have any problem shifting quickly due to tire spin? Also, (even though I'm not a fan of autos), they help keep you in high boost all the way down the track. When my friend steve ditched his muti-disk setup and went with an auto his dyno numbers suffered quite a bit, but his pass time decreased by about two secs. Fully dialed in he started running high 9's. He is running m/t street slicks. (He was a novice at drag racing during this time, that is why the mention) Just as a funny, more mods and now ran a like a 10.8 or so crossing the line a 55mph. Got kicked from the track. (new rules at the county track 11secs)

HeeHee nothing like a little micro bend to get some laughs;)! That particular splicing kinda sucked due to the nature of what was on it. Yep it was part of a national ring for a particular company. Levity did not inpead efficiency, if any one was wondering.
