(explanation: Fox News has fewer real-world facts than the Daily Show) Why you gotta?!! I WILL RESIST COMMENT!!!! Ugh. I was really impressed with your fortitude to resolve this problem. Now to throw out a bleaten political statement out just crushes the rules badly. Your experience has given the search engine more information that it did not have before. ( this is a rare thing) Retract or restate your last comments please. This is asked with great overall concern. This post will be reflective of the changed as well.

What are the details of the incident now?

I don't want to get political and explanation may lead to that. Lets just say he and your self don't ponder your "self esteem" issues;). Toughness built this country to greatness. Attitudes toward recovery/problems is a hotly debated subject considering the human body. The mind seems to have more control over the body then realized. Problem is this has not been laid to scientific fact. Example, working through a cold seems to shorten the run of the virus, for me. Thoughts of " I'll be danged if that pest using my own blood cells as a factory to build copies of its self is going to get the best of me. Others say take it easy stay home. Let your body have all the energy it needs to fight the infection. If you work closely work around others, or your kid has to go to school, PLEASE STAY HOME! Getting a little tired of my kids draging home bugs like stray dogs. Which one is right, speculation. Kinda reminds me of the break-in of a engine argument. Either way, may your father live for many years and when he goes he go quickly and quietly. Peace.

Tail lights turn on. Break lights don't work ethier way?

Even if I did that, as soon as the other tranny was out I would do what ever it would take just because I would not want to be "owned" by one stupid bolt!!:)

To legitimize my point a little further. A motor can serve the same function as a engine. (MAP.MAS.MAF.AFM) (hopefully got that map in the right category based on argument) Guess it is really just a matter of time, experience and personally preference. Ya know I might delete this tomorrow due to the fact I even have a hard time getting what I was getting at.

As bad as it sounds reopening a fresh wound is less traumatic then if it was 90% healed. Knowing you from this forum I assume that he is a tough old bastard and will endeavor quite well. Take that last complement properly,,,, please. Not many left, unfortunately.

^^ Thank you so very much! When the wheel was off when the fender was being done, I noticed that the break line was severely dilapidated. I went down to the house of hose and had to made, two days after noticing the problem. (Both fronts) Now the fellows at the house of hose did not give me the exact same nut on the fender well side. This in turn creates a problem with that joint able to flex and rotate, esp on the side that broke the holding clamp. Trusting the Nissan engineers I will take it up to my friends house to have it tacked into place in order to insure reliability. I bled all the lines and will do it again tomorrow because I replaced the fluid with synthetic fluid. Still waiting for a heavy hitter to tell me if that rim is ruined.

I have to save what hearing I have left at 23 years old they rate my ears as having been in a shop environment for about 30 years already! At least thats what the guy who did my hearing test told me . I was a sonar tech on subs. I listen to loud music most of my life. Not knowing the all the science in hearing I will tell you one thing. Lose a finger...big deal lose a hand.....big deal lose a foot......big deal lose your hair....big deal lose your.......ect. Lose just one of you senses,,,,,, yea big deal. Knowing about hearing and what causes lose, you may have it in your genes. Due to all info given. My hearing was above normal but the constant droned of noise below damage will still harm you.

OK I have the zx back in my possession. Jim (the father) wants to teach his son about business and responsibility. If it was him that did the work I would be saying no harm no foul. He is a good man and always is helping his sons to be great. SOOOO, I would like a professional opinion if these rim is ruined. If they are then I will be posting in the wanted section for replacement. I know that I should not even say that, but I'm helping on a lesson. Here is the pics: Both pics show a lug nut on the top pushed into the hole. Is the holding power at the washer or at the rim, or both? I will post the excellent work on the fender even if I can not find a pic of the old one with the damage.

So the car came home briefly, the father of the boys went to get a lug nut off another wheel and it was only hand tight. It seems that before I owned the car, years ago, someone put on a wrong lug nut and I was too dim to notice. Either way I went around the car to make sure that all were tight annnnnddddd the guy that put on the second lug on the tire that almost came off had one lug that needed three turns to tighten. So my wife was running on ONE lug nut on that tire. Now at this point I've got to even say GOOD GRIEF! Anyhow this evening I will take off every lug and take a pic of the wheel and the ovaling of the holes to seek some advice. Jeez we are only talking about putting on your wheels!!?? Go figure. My problems maybe someone elses safety.

I will check and recheck and check one more time when I do my wheel swaps for the seasons. Did not tighten my old honda once, just once. This however was done by those kids. Even then I got that feeling that I had ignored. BAD ME! Its just they had done such a great and detailed work. << No excuse for me ignoring my instincts.

None, unless you decide to go turbo. Also you need to stick with the injector size that fits your computer/car.

So my wife left this morning to further her education in the medical field. She noticed a vibration on the freeway and pulled off. The DAMN lug nuts on the pass side tires were gone except for ONE! The kids that live next door to me did some fantastic body work on the fender, (they just finished up another year at the local community collage and I figured I could give them a Little spending money), FORGOT to tighten the lug nuts! The last lug was barley on. Thank God for little miracles! She was car pooling so I told the young guy she was with to pull a lug nut from another tire and add it crosswise to the tire missing 3 and crank them down good. Than told my wife to just take it easy. Now here is something for all to know: 1) I thought I should check those lugs (that little voice) AND IGNORED IT!! I have posted in the past about that voice and said to NEVER do that! 2) Yesterday I was getting just a very slight vibration while breaking at low speeds (under MPH). My mind was on the breaks due to the fact that I had noticed when the tire was off that the break line was in pretty bad shape and I could not source on locally, so I was going to get both fronts made this wends day at the house of hose. So I was thinking that I might of had a shimmy on one of my pads and would look into it when I bleed the breaks. We all know what can happen if you loose a tire. Never forget to listen to your voice and check out suspension problems.

Happy brithday sir! May you be blessed with many more:)

No, that is the job of the fuel pump. I've not read too many posts about it being a problem. My own experience with my 82 and 83 is they are very reliable.

It's kinda funny to see all these cars coming out of the wood work and back onto the roads. I've seen a least a 25% increase in small, older compacts on the roads. The metro get crazy gas mileage, the price for these things have gone up quite a bit, go figure. If you can find a metro slam the mega squirt in it and try to hit mpg. On a good day those cars have been known to get 50. I do find it strange how the old civic (early to late 70) could get such excellent mileage compared to the most sophisticated modern cars. Must be a weight/safety thing.

Happy 4th to you all!
