anyone know of a ballpark amount on how much the Jim Cook setup runs?

i didnt know that there were N/A F54's...might explain why i thought there were so many "turbo" engines (less head) in the junk yard! lol but were there diffrent F54's made? (diffrence in webbing btwn cyl.?)

I think the casting on the side. "F54" would be the turbo right guys?

well the diff is not in the car so i will install it and see how (bad) it is. as far as finding out what it is, does anyone know what it did come out of, cause I guess it didn't come out of a GTR...i cant find anything with the 4.375 ratio. the markings on the housing match the numbers on another r200 i have so im guessing it is nissan...lol

cool thanks for all the input guys. i spent $700 for this so i just wanted to know if i got ripped off or not. as far as getting it rebuilt or whatever...i am not racing it, just a fun street car, maybe some non-competitive autox so is a rebuild necessary?

I just got a diff from a guy who said it was out of a "late model" GT-R. he didnt know what year and i was wondering of you guys could help figure it out. it is a clutch type LSD but it has 4.375 ratio (35 toothed ring, 8 tooth pinion) the closest thing that was posted earlier was: " R200V Short nose rear of a R32 GTR skyline, 5 bolt output Ratio 4.36 LSD clutch type" but as you can see in the pics it looks like a long nose. am i mistaken and this is what the diff came out of??

will the people at Isky cams help me decide on what profile i need? i am trying to figure out what the best duration/lift would be for my engine but am still really confused

anyone have a P/N for the HKS metal head gasket for the L24 and L28?

I bought a R200 from a 300ZX (early model) and plan to put it into a 72 240Z. I bought it with the half shafts and all 4 cv joints. is there some sort of adapter to bolt it to the stub axels? thanks!

Haha no thanks. I neither have the engine nor the money do do something like a AWD setup. thanks tho! so the s15 tranny nor the Z33 tranny will fit the RB25 without adapters/machine work...alright...my dreams have just been shot down lol

someone correct me if im wrong, but didnt any GTR come with a AWD tranny and the RB26? and the RWD Tranny came on the RB25 in any GTS-T? alright...another question. will any 6 speed fit on an rb25?
