sorry for digging up such an old thread but did the GC plates only come in a 4 bolt pattern? my Z has 3 bolts, was i supposed to specify that? i had to wait about 3 months for these and i really dont want to send them back again...but i think i must...

Is the JTR all Al radiator available from JTR themselves? on thier site the only show the plastic/aluminum rad. i know that AZC sells them, but thats pretty pricey...

I heard that if you put a very thin washer the diameter of the spring in the oil pump it will increase your oil press. same thing as getting a stiffer "turbo" spring. you will have to experiment on what thickness to do, as i have not doned this yet (engine not running yet) and since you have a good gauge you can watch for too much pressure.

if you guys have something bad to say, go on a civic forum and duke it out there. we are all Z owners, the last of a dying breed. there is no use ragging on eachother like that. i am in no position to chastize anyone, but we got to stick together!

you could measure the amount of air the piston draws in...or spits out...put like a deflated balloon over the exhaust port and measure it that way??? lol or stick a string and a bore-scope down the spark plug hole...

ok thanks for the input. i was just hesitant for a cam company to tell me what kinda cam to get, i have heard multple cases where people were "under-sold" (the cam was not big enough for thier liking), for example the MSA cams. i was trying to get some ballpark figures from people who actually have the .480-.510 lifts and see how they like it.

would the lobe separation be different btwn s/c or turbo?

does that mean that the L28et crank and rods are different than the n/a crank/rods? if they are the same...wouldnt n/a components be better because they have probobly led a less stressful life...

i have a 55 gal barrel with 110 leaded we used to use on our quads. so if i put this stuff in i will actually lose horsepower? what is the calculations needed to figure out octane by cutting it with 92?

i think that the pre-muffler is like the same thing as a resonator iirc... it is separate than the header and can be placed anywhere along your exhaust tubing.

speaking of smog checks...what is the cutoff date where you dont need to pass emissions anymore?

I spoke with Sandy at Jim Cook... they are working with camden for a group buy for the supercharger kit. so anyone who is interested get on it! lol. as for this kit, would thier stroker (3.1L) kit make much more of a diffrence combined with this SC kit? someone else told me that with these boost levels and my, well, "un-prepared" engine (stock head, i AM getting a cam, havent decided which yet) would not make much of a difference. is this true? anyone done it and seen much difference? feedback appreciated!!!
