the one valve cover said 2000 ont it, leading one to believe it is a 2.0L engine. and where did you get a VG30DETT? the VG series engine is in a "V" configuration and is twin turbo...and these engines are clearly normally aspirated. whats with the sarcastic response????

I e-mailed weldcraft wheels and they said that they can widen alloy wheels up to 2.5" wider for $150 a wheel. to do it to the front lip will cost $100/wheel extra for grinding the bead down and finishing. I am seriously looking into this because for any 16x8.5 and approx. -38 offset will cost over $2100. if you get the 16x7 rewinds, send them to weldcraft and widened/finished for $1000, you get some 16x8 (or whatever width up to 9.5) for a total of $1600 plus change for shipping. I think that is a great deal!

Am i sadly mistaken, or with the MSnS v. 3.0, i can just wire it up to my relay board like this and im good to go?

I havent actually got the car on the ground yet BECAUSE of such wheel drama. i have heard from another member that the panasport 16" WILL clear the brakes, maybe not the 15". I am really excited about the Konig Rewinds now being sold in 16", too bad they are only offered in 7" wide (looking into getting them widened). but it might be another month before i get it running...

i just re-did all the lines on my z for my wilwoods and noone suggests upgrading to larger lines. and i dont think there is a proportioning vlave in the front, only in the rear before the splitter block above the diff. the front brakes (right and left side) each have thier own line from the master cyl...correct me if im wrong

I FINALLY got some stuff done to my car. got the GC coilovers and the Illuminas, AZC control arms and TC rods, and Wilwoods from AZC. here are some before and after pics... BEFORE: AFTER:

This may seem like a really dumb question so im apologising in advance... I just picked up a L28ET and took off the valve cover and (almost) everything is covered in rust. the casting on the head is P90A and I dont know how to tell by looking if it has hydraulic lifters or mech. lifters. there are no spring-clips holding the rockers to the pivot, is that a give-away? or do i have to take them apart? thanks for the help!

although, that supra one would be the perfect size with in/out on the same size. you would minimise the amount of IC piping which is always a good thing

Amen. Realistically, its not like you see any high quality origional datsuns going on the Barret Jackson block...from what ive seen, a good turbo swap and FI go for more than a cherry restored one...just what IVE seen...

I would also like some info on a contact for some forged pistons...group buy would be nice!

that looks like the turbo tom setup that one member has (or had) for sale on the classifieds on this site...for the $ he wanted for it , it would be a killer deal. too bad he isnt able to ship it...

I used that page when i was picking a turbo...really helped how to understand and read compressor maps

I concur...i like the look of just a pipe coming out from the rear, not a very big fan of the chrome tips...

supra 440cc injectors are 11mm i believe. they do not require any modification to fit the intake manifold but you will need to get an o-ring fuel rail...

so does anyone know if the stock ZX fuel pump will work with alcohol?

i have seen all the systems out there, but i wanted to save some $ and peice together my own system. i am not going to be running anything crazy, just a little peace of mind when all i have to choose from is crappy gas octane.
