  1. Bottom type looks like the western wheel hurricanes I have on my car. My grandfather calls them turbine mags. Its an old nickname for them.
  2. I have a few Datsun Air Conditioning compressors laying around. Physically factory s130 and s30 (280z Specifically) compressors are the same (Flange type aside). But the flows are reversed between them. If you have your Factory A/C hoses you'll probably want the s30 compressor or you can just have an A/C shop make a set of hoses to match the compressor you decide to go with.
  3. I got mine at Pep Boys. The local Autozone didn't carry the mag style lugs.
  4. Located in the Houston Area. I'm looking for a bolt-on OEM Style fiberglass hatch for the s130 coupe or a bolt-on Pantera Hatch. I know about Zforceproductions but $460 for just a skin seems a bit steep. Let me know what you have and don't be shy.
  5. I've hit 130 mph in my 1979 280zx out on Highway 6 outside college station. Stock rear r180 3.7 gearing with new factory suspension. 3.0 NA L28. Car would have done more but I just about soiled my pants. I had to test out that new engine. In the 98 B4C Camaro 150 mph is fastest I've been.
  6. I have an 85 ecu if your interested.
  7. If DFW is like Houston your looking at a minimum of 65 for that one mile trip.
  8. I've seen Yasin's car in person Sexiest S130 I've ever seen.
  9. It is a bolt on calico. The color codes are reversed on the pigtail connector if memory serves.
  10. My dog can provide both better service and better parts then show cars. That guy has horrible service. There's someone on the forum whose doing/completed a tubular front end s30 with a vq35 swap who had a full fiberglass front end made. I believe he or the shop still has the molds. He actually made his own rims for the same vehicle if my memory serves. Good luck.
  11. I use an 90 amp alternator from a 90s maxima. All it requires is you splice in the connector from the maxima into the z. Real simple.
  12. Awesome I was wondering what happened with these, looking forward to the final product.
  13. You should go with an rb with those type of power goals. It would undoubtedly be cheaper that way as well. A modified rb26, or a fully built rb30det.
  14. In Japan the the s130 was badged as the Fairlady 280z when fitted with an l28.
  15. I bought one of their hoods for my s130. I wasn't really pleased with the quality. You could see the outline of the structure under the hood skin. The only aftermarket body part I've bought that has displeased me as well.
  16. 15 in spare for a 4 lug 300zx. I have one although shipping would be colossal.
  17. ã¼ãã¯æ—¥æœ¬èªžã‚’読ã¿ã¾ã™ã€‚ã§ã‚‚ã¨ãã©ã難ã—ã„ã§ã™ã‚ˆã€‚Even i find it hard and I minor in the bloody subject. Willing to help if needed though. To jdizzy204 alot of people find katakana hard. I deplore it myself.
  18. Yes it can be done. Yes the intake bolts up, you'll need a different fuel pump.
  19. Have you tested the cold start injector?
  20. I'd go triple mikunis but yes both are better then a downdraft carb setup. I'm guessing your 260 has those horrible Hitachis on it. I wish you the best of luck .
  21. You'd be better off performance wise swapping on a set of rebuilt SUs from a 240z or getting a set of triple mikunis. A down draft carb is going to have much more restriction then side drafts would in an L-type application. But if you must have a down draft your manifold can be found here
