  1. BIGJIM wear some eye protection you don't want a metal sliver impaling your eyeball. It looks like you've had a busy day and your primer matches your house too.
  2. When they leave it idling outside while eating inside.
  3. Yeah they do keep a maintenance schedule but they are still hard miles. Unless of course he plans on rebuilding or freshening up the engine and tranny then go for it.
  4. Buying an ex-police car with low miles sounds "cool" because you think those have stupid power but you have to be careful about those. Reason is because they may show low miles but you have to consider how many hours they've been idling. You ever see a cop car idling under a bridge or in a parking lot with the a/c on while he's writing his or her report? Plus you're not even counting the fact that they dog these cars jumping curbs and all that. So unless your going to freshen up the engine in the cop car, find a gently used Caprice or wagon, Buick Roadmaster, Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham as a donor car. Unless of course if your car was a detectives car or a marshalls car where most of it's duty was to serve warrants or go from point a to b.
  5. As of 4 p.m. some snow and sleet still coming down, it's either that or MSG. My Z under a cover beside my LTZ:wink:

  7. Why you taking porno pics of your dog? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...s/DSC01203.jpg
  8. Isn't it the rule of thumb to always pack the wheel bearings with first? Unless it's some kinda sealed bearing, i've never heard of it going in dry.
  9. You should buy mine for $650 . I think what you need to do is apply first for a verification of ownership to see who owned it before and if there are any leins on it but im not sure. You can always go to the tax office and ask them and they usually point you in the right direction. Here is a link to the forms they have online, hope it helps. http://www.dot.state.tx.us/forms/vehicle_titles.htm
  10. Does this come with some kinda warranty? Like a 3 year 36K groping hand mile warranty and non transferrable if she leaves me?
  11. In the movie "The Day After" the scene is when Jason Robard is trying to drive back to the hospital and an EMP shuts everyones engine off. At that moment there is a white S130 on the other side of the freeway just before he sees the flash and ducks down on the seat.
  12. It's a good thing i read your post thoroughly, for a moment there i thought you were getting em done. j/k:wink:
  13. I have a 75 also and have never seen "Datsun" on the valve cover either. If the guy went carb from FI then he might have had problems with the original system. If the harness is still be good then convert back but you might end up chasing a lot of electrical gremlins on other peoples "creative" wiring. Just do a simple V8 swap or you can go get a j/y turbo motor and get all the essentials and see where that gets you. good luck.
  14. Good to know it's not tolerated. Spam, love to eat it hate to read it.
  15. Usually only white or amber infront and amber and red at the rear. Any other color lights infront underneath and at the back will get you pulled over.
  16. Kinda like the time i got robbed. "give me your wallet, po"
  17. Happy Turkey day to everyone too.
  18. To any Hotwheels collectors, what's big deal between the "short card" first edition compared to the one with the yellow bar on the right "long card" packaging. I can see why "error" ones are valuble. I have both long and short versions but the cars are identical. Just wondering while im on the Hotwheels kick.
  19. So close yet my money is so far:icon_frow good price on it though.
