  1. Wow 40 hours, and i thought 18 hours was hard. Good to see you made it ok.
  2. Worked for me, for a moment there i thought you were gonna crash in the garage.
  3. There are admins' like Mikelly and Owen since the start of 2000 as an example lots of others i cant think of at the moment. I'm in the same boat as you are, has a Z but no 8 yet.
  4. Thanks for the correction, everytime i went to my supplier i just said " i need one of these". The screw type lock is on of the best, most Coke machines have those type locks. When they tried to break in my Coke machines they tried to use a dent puller to yank out the lock it wouldn't budge.
  5. When i used to have a vending route i used to buy locks like those and adapt it to whatever machine i had. I think they are called cam locks http://www.eastloc.com/camlock3.htm but you have to figure out the part that holds the hood down. The locks itself are easy enough to modify and fit whatever you need.
  6. I would think that the 240 would fit in the 280 but i would worry about the mounting points being slightly different.
  7. For around 250k- 300k you can purchase a 4- 5 bedroom, 2500-3500 sqft. home in Plano. Check out http://www.remax-texas.com/index.cfm that should give you an idea. Plano was pretty new next is Frisco and the newest area is Allen.
  8. Same here, i've never seen the ebay ad till now. I agree with jmortensen, the car should be put out of it's misery.
  9. Ribroast and Turducken.
  10. primadonna z any audioclips of how your car sounds?
  11. Notice the fenders? At 8k and 9 days to go someone wants it bad, it's not far from here too.
  12. What year LT1 did you get? It might be you didn't disable the Vehicle Anti-Theft System, VATS. Usually when the incorrect key is used in a VATS equipped car the same thing happens to what you are describing.
  13. It's a slow night and I found this. It's 3 minutes of your life wasted.
  14. good luck, i hope the fog burns off by then.
  15. the bus shoulda' just rammed him.
  16. Sumo

    Turn it UP!!!!!

Works for me, a little slow to load but it works.
  17. I guess you already know that you usually don't tow a stickshift with the drive wheels on the ground even if it's in neutral. Unless of course you take off the driveshaft which a lot off people don't do. My point was to save you wear and tear, it's better to put the car on a transporter instead of a dolly especially on long distance unless it's just around town. I did tow a 78 Trans Am once using a towbar but i only did it for 10 miles.
  18. No matter how desperate you get don't use a tow dolly! I towed my brothers 82 280ZX because he didn't want to spend for the full trailer and he ended up with front end problems which cost him a few bucks. The 1600 miles from L.A. to Dallas with that front end going backwards did do some damage.
  19. You talking about Pick n' Pull near 30? Some of the yards off Jefferson and loop 12 started doing the "admission" thing too, sucks when you have to pay and end up walking out with nothing and paying a fee to look.
  20. $5 including injectors? score! over here it cost $2 just to get in.
  21. Ditto on what Oldestzguy stated and i'm sorry to hear that you had to go thru this Mark.
  22. Too bad, i wanted to know what kinda cake it was.
  23. So mark, what happened, did you get your part, did Fedex really loose your part?
