You might wanna be careful putting that much ethanol in a non flex fuel vehicle. The only thing that ethanol mixes really well with is water, it's also corrosive and not to mention your fuel economy might suffer. We have an E85 station here too but the price is almost neglible compared to regular gas.
I'm with you too by sticking it to the big oil companies but your car is slowly being eaten by the ethanol even with the 50% gasoline mix.
You still have the expired Texas inspection sticker and tag on it. Nice job on the mirrors, i'm suprised that you can still see it even with your cowl. Cool pics!
I saw a similar product on a re-run of the show Trucks on Spike tv a couple of weeks ago, although i don't recall if it was the same brand name. Looked like a good alternative to spraying and saves time on masking.
Phantom,
Your neighborhood is on tv on channel 8, they were doing a story on what you were complaining about. But when the TXU reps saw channel 8 cameras, they took off and sent a P.R. person out. They really did a hack job from the pictures i saw.
I think the dog is capable of receiving XM satellite and the Dish Network.Nice score on the intercooler, at least you didn't receive it folded in half this time.
I wish you good luck because TXU and whatever tree contractor they have working for them have been doing that for years. They leave full grown trees looking like a giant letter "Y" because to them, that is tree trimming. There have been cases also in other parts of Dallas where they have done that. It's sounds like it's become worst ever since they got de-regulated because there is more finger pointing. Maybe it's time for you to call channel 4 and talk to Saul Garza.
The aftermarket radio if hooked up to be constantly on will draw that much power but since you took it out make sure the power wires are capped and taped away properly. The ammeter gauge has a small draw too but not enough to do what you described. If you want you can disconnect the ammeter and just connect the two wires together instead of it going through the gauge.
I have a 75 280Z and i have fuel injection and the build date on the driverside door jamb is 12/74. As far as i know there was an early version of the 75 280Z with small bumpers like the 240Z. I have never seen a 260Z with big bumpers like mine. Check the build date on the door jamb by the driverside and see what kinda build date it has and see if you can ascertain if the motor or carbs came with the car.
It's not uncommon to get bad rebuilds from auto parts store. I had to change an alternator on my 78 Trans Am four times till i got one that lasted more than a year. Same thing with starters i took three off before i got a good one that wouldnt bind after heating up. Just fix the simplest thing which is change the alternator and they can test it on the bench. If it's not the alternator then you can move from there. good luck.
It's not like we do it on purpose or were evil they said you have to turn in a "core", we did, it just so happens it wasn't from the same car. Sometimes they know or don't care like just last weekend. I bought a battery for a Camry but the core was from a 92 F150. The guy knew it and didn't care as long as i had a core.
