  1. One thing you do want to make sure of is use locktite on the driveshaft bolts. Mine have come loose a few times. I even installed locking nuts and still wiggles loose. I actually have the willwood master cylinder and not the tilton. same thing but a tad cheaper than the tilton.
  2. I used the JTR tranny mount for the t-5. I just bought a new insulator for it.
  3. Huh thats about a 45min drive from me. If I took the zed though it would be about 30 Still seems a tad high for all that is involved. If he lowers it to around 1k I might have to go snag it.

What I did was from the headers I went with 2.5" to a y-pipe, then directly to a Glasspack muffler then 2.5 from there out to the stock location. right now the drone in anything but 5th gear is a tad loud. I will be putting on a Carbon fiber muffler with a 4" exit. It actually sounds really nice.
  8. I've heard you can use a vette lt1 bracket and relocate the alt down low so no powersteering a/c.
  9. This is what I did for my clutch rod.. I took the old master cylinder out and removed the rod. Took the Tilton rod out and istalled the datsun rod. Installed tilton master with datsun rod and adjusted. Took car for a spin and had fun. As far as the alt goes you need to use the port it should be a 1 wire attachment. I'll take pics of it when I get home. If you can afford it I would just get a standalone wiring harness or send yours into http://www.lt1350.com/ and have them build you one. Its well worth the pain of trying to figure out what you want and dont want. The Radiator should still work fine as long as you have your system bled correctly. Also you will need to have the VATS system removed from your ecu or bypass it with a module. (I have one I don't need). any further questions just ask.

  12. ^^^ yes but you can always label the contents of the tank in smaller lettering. Any joe schmo will not notice.
  13. I like the idea, I'm working on designing some custom lt1 fuel rail covers that might have the scarab emblem in it as well.
  14. The cheapest solution I can think of it this. Get a new rubber mallet and cut it up to the sizes you need. Then use a drill press and drill out where the lines will run. Then cut it almost in half to slide the lines in. I can call you tonight and talk about it with you. I'll prob go this route since it is really cheap to get a black rubber mallet.

  16. What I would do is drill a hole in the stud and use a grade 8 nut. Torque down the nut and then use either a small cotterpin or a piece of SS wire to act as a stop.

  20. Just paint it red and put fire extinquisher sitckers on it. That way it will look like a fire suppresion system.
