  1. Thanks Rob, I couldn't remember if we ever found a name for those wheels.
  2. I don't own one but my friend has a few HARDTOPS... The grey one is a '81 base model manual steering, high back bucket seats gorgeous interior flawless. The burgundy one is an '82 that he bought in California and drove it back cross country. This one is clean too. He resides in Maryland but both 280ZX's are in Florida. They are both FOR SALE!! Let me know if anyone is interested I'll put you in touch with him.
  3. I purchased my 2mm from MSA this is when Courtsey was out of them.
  4. Yea they are ACL bearings but the rings are from Ross.
  5. Here are my specs: Isky Custom Ground *Lift 490 intake, Lift 480 exhaust *290 intake duration, 280 exhaust duration *1/14 lobe center He said this cam will keep overlap down, help increase throttle response, and assist in my quest for no turbo lag.
  6. Jimbo, Ron Iskenderian is one of the sons of the founder Ed Iskenderian. He is the only one in my opinion that you should deal with. Sometimes he is hard to get a hold of but when you do you better have 30 min or more to spare. I never dealt with Nolan, they do have over 100 people there though.
  7. Doug thats the same cam that I got from Ron. Justin call and ask for Ron he is a wealth of information and will recommend a nice grind for your application. I spent about an hour on the phone w/ him he is a super nice guy.
  8. I'm using one too. I got the whole upper intake, TPS and MAF for $100.
  9. Well I packed up and loaded everything into the back of my truck and hauled it down to Todd Wagner's place Tidewater Z Auto Service for final assembly. I also picked up my assembled Ross Pistons and Pauter rods from my machinist. All I am waiting on is for the valves to come in and for my machinist to finish the head. While I'm down there at Todd's I ordered the M/M rear disc conversion and Z31 companion adapters so I can install my R200 3.9 Clutch type from a Skyline that I got from Stony 7 years ago.
  10. Hey all, I am getting the parts together for my L28ET swap in my 240Z. My Z currently has the stock 4 speed in it with a Goodridge or Russell stainless steel slave cylinder line from MSA. When I swap in the 1981 280ZX 5-speed will that line transfer over to my new 280ZX slave cylinder? Or do I need to get the line for a 280ZX? I couldn't find anywhere if they are interchangeable between the slave cylinders and transmissions. I looked on MSA site and there are two different part numbers: • Stainless Steel Clutch Hose, 70-78 Z Code:21-2170 Price: $19.95 • Stainless Steel Clutch Hose, 79-83 ZX Code:21-2171 Price: $19.95 I just want to make sure before I order it if I need it. Thanks,

  16. I found another link: http://jalopnik.com/cars/retro/open-sesame-warehouse-opening-in-portugal-reveals-forgotten-collection-231918.php "Imagine you're Ali Baba, stumbling on the 40 Thieves' treasure -- only the thieves are long gone and the treasure is actually 180 European cars of various description. That's kind of what happened in this case, where inside a warehouse welded shut for years, a wealth of dusty cars -- Jags, Porsches, Lancias, Alfas, Lotuses, Austin Minis, Renaults, open-wheel formula cars, and on and on -- sat rusting for over 15 years. No word yet on who's claiming the cars, or what will become of them, but we'd imagine there are a few resto shops in Lisbon whose phones are ringing off the hook. [Thanks to Geert for the tip.] – Mike Spinelli"
  17. SHEOT!!!! Yasin, Do you know what the rest of the article says my translator sucks?
  18. Gettting off throttle after leaving the light Phil chimes in WOO "HOLLLLA" I'm still laughing: "Hola" back... Your almost there man.....
  19. Well mine is very simple. When I was stationed in Japan I seen my first Z car and was hooked. I always dreamt of having a twin turbo S30. I came back to the states bought the kit from Japan and blamo no RHD Z. So I sold the kit and now I am building my nasty L28 turbo, single that is. Maybe I'll change to 240zt but that’s too common plus I'm known everywhere with that name. 240=duh Z=duh tt=twin turbo
  20. Looks good Mike!! Did you only run 1/8?
